If you're not happy with the default pitch textures on Football Manager 2018, try this set of textures which are more easy on the eyes.

How to install Pitch Textures on FM18

Extract the contents of the downloaded .rar file using a free tool such as 7-zip for Windows or The Unarchiver for Mac.

Move the extracted folder "textures" here:
Documents / Sports Interactive / Football Manager 2018 /

Open FM18 and go to Preferences > Interface.
Hit the "Clear Cache" button. Then return to the same screen and hit the "Reload Skin" button.

@Bartdude: Hmm, I've seen him share this on SI forums but didn't notice any complaints or theft reports there. Hopefully, DieSpaghettis can answer to that soon.

It seems you are in the habit of "stealing" other peoples works and putting your own name against them without first asking permission to reproduce or crediting the originator ! These textures are taken directly from mod files posted with recent Flut skins ! You've also recently posted a 3D match ball of mine on a German site,again without permission or crediting. Also the ball in question is out of date and not representative of my latest work. The FM community is all about sharing but using other peoples work without permission or crediting their work but instead giving the impression they are your own work is despicable !!
