    I just tested it in the prem (2nd season to avoid world cup effects). West Ham (predicted 10th) came 7th, also 7th in the xG table. Watford (predicted 18th) came 17th but 18th in the xG table. Huddersfield (predicted last) came last, although the manager was sacked in December. So not hugely promising, unfortunately.
