FM Genie Scout (or Genie Scout in short) is world's most popular scouting tool for Football Manager, created to extend the possibilities of finding, sorting and shortlisting players and staff, controlling their progress, making "first 11" and tactics choice easier and observing attributes invisible in FM.

There are no new features compared to Genie Scout 13, except the addition of all the new player roles in FM14 (enganche, false nine etc). During closed beta stage, Eugene focused on making all GS13 functions available for GS14 and fixed all bugs that came to surface. As a result, the public edition should be quite stable from the very first version.

How to run
- Extract the downloaded .zip file and run the setup .exe file.
- You might get an offer to install a free program or a browser toolbar. You can choose to Accept or Decline/Skip the offer.
Important: Unticking checkboxes on the offer screen is only for disabling an offer's extra options. If you don't want the offer, you need to hit the Decline or the Skip button! - Follow instructions until installation is finished.
- Run Football Manager 2014 and load your savegame.
- Launch Genie Scout 14 and from main menu click "Load Game".

Donate to get the "g" edition
As usual, Genie Scout 14 comes in two editions. One with ads and one with no ads (we will refer to it as the "g" edition). In order to get the "no ads" one you'll have to donate to Eugene first, using the Donate to Eugene page.Genie Scout 14g FAQ
DELIVERY OF THE 'G' EDITION :
Eugene has automatized the process of distribution for the "g" edition, so people will only have to wait a few minutes before they will get a download link and a key file. But only if they have sent correct contact email, correct Unique ID along with the donation.
Make sure you check your Spam folder too.
If Eugene doesn't have his computer open at the time of donation, it might take up to 24 hours or longer (until he opens it). In case of problem with your donation, please contact Eugene using the email address you'll see in the message after donation.
Apart from no ads, the "g" edition has 4 extra features:

A statistically based model that will show the probability of reaching theoretical maximum of players ability - Progress Rate :
Shows the predicted speed of player's development, depending on his ambition, determination, professionalism etc - Support for Graphics :
If you have custom facepacks and/or kitpacks added to your FM, it should show on player and team profiles on GS - Top Players Lists :
Automatically generated lists for best players, most promising and top bargains in the world, by position
Please note that during the first run of "g" edition it may take a few minutes to create the graphic packs cache. Next time it will be loaded much faster.
IMPORTANT :
FM Scout (the site) is not involved in the donations towards Eugene, neither has any responsibility delivering the ad-free version to you after donation. This is a process handled solely by Eugene himself.

EXPORTING DATA :
Please understand it is forbidden by the EULA from SI and SEGA to export all the data from the results. You should be able to export only basic information such as player name, club, age, etc... the rest information belong to SI and SEGA.

How to fix it?!
@sync1213: When you say "reinstalled", do you mean you formatted your computer or installed the app on a new one? At either case, you'll need a new key file from Eugene because your former Unique ID is no longer current.
@Torskus77: Is it possible that you had GS14 open for a few hours and when you tried to use it again it gave you that error? Did you try closing and reopening the 'g' edition before trying the public one? A memory timeout is the only case I can think of right now.
Yes it is not original but GS12 has worked on FM12..

I setup on other pc and send this now it works
When I search the players all the players position ar Gk or Sw
and their ability are all the same... What's the problem ?
When I try to load it up, it gives me the error message list index out of bounds (6876732)
downloaded the standard edition with ads, and that works fine, any ideas?

@exzodya22: If you're on a pirate copy, most likely GS14 won't work for you. Perhaps this is why some people receive "access violation errors".
@OPAgusta: I can't be sure, could be lots of reasons. Report it to the GS forum and include as many details as possible (Operating System, FM version, save game info, etc) and perhaps Eugene can figure out why this is happening for you.
@BrunoDias82: I suppose you're on the 'g' edition. Did you format or change your computer? Unique ID is actually unique per computer and operating system install, so if you changed something (1 of them 2 cases I mentioned), you'll need a new key file from Eugene to match your new Unique ID.
@rockyah: I don't know what's wrong for you, sorry.
@kyku: You're probably referring to the download link(s) for the 'g' edition that you must have received by email. Try right-clicking and 'save link as' or similar (depending on browser). Because otherwise, the download button for the public edition here works just fine.
I would love to see a Linux version or a way to use this one in Linux. It does work with Wine but it can´t load the game from memory.
If anyone knows a way to do it, please let me know.

P.s I forgot to mention in my message, but AVG has popped up saying that one of the files that was downloaded onto my computer was a virus. most likely a keylogger. I plan on sending this information to my Country cyber division to have to blocked from being downloaded in the UK

@rockyah: Make sure to extract the setup exe from the zip archive before trying to run it.
@harrydancer: I've answered that a dozen times already. Browse through the comments here (2nd and 3rd page I think) to find my responses as I hate repeating myself.
@LionelM10: These should only work for 'g' edition. You don't need to do anything special, just add the graphics to appear in FM14.
@Whitehawks: Are you referring to the download link for the 'g' edition? Or when you click the big red "Download Now" button on this very page? In both cases the links work just fine for me, so I don't really know what's the problem. Provide a screenshot of your browser with the error screen please.
