Haynesy96: Inter Milan - Restoring a Reputation
After being proven guilty of match fixing, a practice well known to take place in Italian Football, Inter Milan have to face some super harsh punishments that were poured down on them from above by the almighty god UEFA. The sacking of Walter Mazzarri means that the club employed a new boss, who went by the name of Luis Figo – none other than the Portuguese legend. The updates are well structured, and really easy to read and digest, making it a great story to follow. The content is also very good, although very sharp and sweet. Scrolling through the updates, it is clear that every update from the first to the last, has been an improvement, which bodes well for the future. Gradually, we have seen the writers writing style come through, and some very detailed monthly reports.
However, there is always something you can do to improve. For starters, there could be more of a storyline, that doesn’t involve gameplay from Football Manager. For example, you could develop on the match fixing scandal to create a bit of drama and excitement. Another area for improvement is Graphics. There is not many graphics present in the story, and this would take it to the next level, but all in all, a very nice story.

RD17: Everton FC - The Club with Ambition
After Roberto Martinez announced he had left the club, Everton, a club on the rise, needed a new man to take charge, and legend Zinedine Zidane was that man. The teams campaign so far has been solid, however a lack of funds have angered the fans and put the clubs growth under pressure. On the writing side, it is good. It offers some detailed updates, which make you want to read on. They are well structured, and include a nice touch – when a new player is signed, a screenshot is posted – something relatively unused by other members. The layout of the updates are also very nice, laid out like a newspaper article, adding a sense of realism to the writers work.
However, once again, there is not much of a storyline. With the financial worries being a relatively new update at the time of writing, I want to see this develop and really show the writers creative side, rather than the factual one. Also, graphics could be added. For example, it uses the generic banners of BBC Sport and other news websites. There is nothing wrong with this, but a nicely designed banner designated for the story would certainly help the situation.

Maximus94: Southampton FC: Patriotism
Southampton, a growing force in English football, have been bought by Sir Richard Branson, owner of the Virgin franchise. However, his aim is to only allow English players to play for the side, and allow them to develop English football as a whole. This is an intriguing challenge, not unique, but intriguing. It is very nice to read, laid out well, and very nice to digest – good on the eye. The interview updates are outstanding, jam packed of information on what the interviewee is thinking, whether it is Sir Branson himself, or the new boss following Pochettino’s move to Spurs, Gareth Southgate. The transfer updates, however, could be slightly more detailed to provide more information. It could include something like quotes or an interview, which I think is the writer’s strongest area. Graphics could also be improved on, but the writing aspect is still more important.
