FM17 Tactic: 4-2-3-1 DM Wide Control

This tactic I started tinkering to fit my squad's strength at the beginning of season 1 and made slight tweaks. Aside from an 8-0 defeat at Arsenal one game this tactic has been winning.


Been using this on my teams youth teams:

• UEFA Youth League semifinalist with Leicester in 2018-2019
• UEFA Champions League semifinalist 2018-2019
• U23 league champion 2018-2019
• Top 7 or higher league finish with senior squad

There is some weaknesses against teams with pace, so have a Plan B for those squads. This team gave Real Madrid all they could handle in 4 fixtures in the Champions League.
