This update includes some further stability fixes in Football Manager 2017 Beta. It is a rather big update weighting over 680 MB.
The data lock was last week, so we have reason to believe this update is big mainly due to database changes.
Released: 31 October 2016
As usual the update is save game compatible, so you don't have to start a new save game to apply the fixes. However, to get the database changes, you have to start a new save.
To update you will need to close down Football Manager 2017 and re-launch for it to update. If this does not work for you or you feel it has not updated you will need to restart Steam.
Even if that doesn't do the trick, then verify the game cache will.
List of changes
While there's no specific changelog for this patch, we noticed that the game's window (in windowed mode) no longer shows version number and just says "Football Manager 2017". This could be an indication that we're moving out of Beta and into the Final version. For any feedback in regards to this update, please use the official Pre-Release Beta Feedback Thread (requires free membership on Sports Interactive forum).
