FM19 - Making a Manager - 02 - Analysing My Club

And we're back for Part 2 of this e-Course. In the previous part, we looked at how I would set up my game of FM before getting in to a save. It included details on making your actual manager, selecting which team (if any) to begin with, suggestions as to which leagues should be loaded, how to download & install graphic packs, and more.

This tutorial will focus on analysis of the club you have selected to start with, with a view towards outlining the objectives you set for the future, both short-term and long-term. It is important to set objectives for your club (and for yourself) so as to have absolute clarity as to what you wish to achieve, as well as to being able design a step-by-step progression route to your final objective.

Today's tutorial will be a short one as we merely analyse our football club by examining its status in the world of football, the facilities it has available to it, the financial structure of the football club, the staff currently employed and, most importantly, the depth and ability of your squad. The next tutorial will use what is learned today, as well as some other information which will be gained later, to put together a plan with which we will look to develop our football club with.
