FM19 - Making a Manager - 02 - Analysing My Club

Looking at a very specific case study here as we analyse the different aspects of Oxford City. Not so much a tutorial this time as it is a summary.

Squad Overview

Oxford City Had Just 12 Senior Players At Their Disposal

Well, it isn't really much of a squad, to start with. Twelve players is certainly not enough to play one game with, let alone one season. There are four players available to us from our youth squad, making a grand total of sixteen players to choose from. Still not a great number to work with, is it?

Looking at where there are gaps in the squad, Oxford City lacks players who can play as a central defender (DC). There are no natural DC's in either of the squads, so I know where my priority will be in terms of new signings. Other gaps include wide midfielders/wingers, with very little to pick from. This may prompt me to either sign some wide midfielders or use formations which do not require such players.
