The GOAT Super League is a fantasy save file for Football Manager 2024 featuring over 4500 of the greatest football legends of all time, playing in a global super league system utilising the legendary World Super League created by DarthFurion.

Full squads of greatest of all time legends for elite clubs featuring over 4500 legends.

Over 1200 of the best clubs in the world, competing in a single football pyramid with incredible competition and serious prize money available.

A high-quality facepack with 4000 legends.

An era-based age progression system - with present day players (Yamal, Vinicius Jr, Saka etc.) starting at age 15-16 and the oldest legends (Dixie Dean, Leonidas, Josef Bican etc.) only age 23-24, giving you long careers to enjoy your legends, create incredible combinations and rewrite history.

Classic managers added for the top division including Sir Alex Ferguson at Manchester United, Arsene Wenger at Arsenal, Johan Cruyff at Barcelona and Jose Mourinho at FC Porto, sure to provide some serious competition.[/h3]

Due to a number of issues and out of respect for creators of preceding databases, The GOAT Super League will only be available as a save game file.
This was my first attempt at making a legends save, having enjoyed playing on others such as FM Return of the Legends over the years. I attempted to combine players from a range of databases over different formats of FM and this caused a lot of errors, glitches and general chaos which has taken months of editing.

This project was a labour of love, and while most bugs have been resolved, some minor imperfections may remain.

How to use the save file:

Move the downloaded The_GOAT_Super_League.fm file to your "games" folder:
Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2024/games

Open Football Manager 2024 > Load Game > Select The GOAT Super League

Add your manager, pick your club, and enjoy!

How to install the Facepack:

Download The GOAT Super League Facepack from the Google Drive link

Extract/Unzip The GOAT Super League Megapack

Windows: Use 'WinRAR', '7-Zip', ‘Extractor’ etc.

Mac: Use 'The Unarchiver', 'Decompressor', etc.

Drag the The GOAT Super League Facepack folder to:

Create the 'graphics' folder if it doesn’t exist

Windows/Game Pass:
Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2024/graphics

Mac:
Users/Username/Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2024/graphics
OR
Username/Library (hidden)/Application Support/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2024/graphics

Open FM24, go to Preferences > Advanced > Interface

Click ‘Clear Cache’

Then:

Disable “Use caching to decrease page loading times”

Enable “Reload skin when confirming changes in preferences”

Confirm – and you’re ready to roll.
