The game authentication servers are now live for Football Manager 2009 and the first Football Manager 2009 Patch (9.1.0) is finally available. This patch fixes a number of compatibility issues with the game and SI would encourage people to download it and use with their copy of Football Manager 2009.
SI highly advises people to authenticate through the STEAM platform, as with STEAM installed you will get automatic updates, the first of which is already uploaded and ready to go via STEAM.
