Gasperini 3-5-2 Overachieving with Atalanta // FM20 Tactic

The Tactic

Atalanta in the start of the game is predicted to finish in 7th and I manage to end up in 2nd.
So it's based on the current manager of Atalanta, Gasperini, and is a 532 on defense that turns into a 352 on attack.



First of all... a little tweak you can do.

- Your Pressing Forward can be an Advanced Forward or a Complete Forward on Attack , and your other striker can as well be a Complete Forward on Support or a False 9.

Now...

Your Key Attributes

Goalkeeper - can be a standard one, don't need nothing more than good shot stopping, command and good mental, he wont have many 1 on 1s so...

Defenders - all 3 must be tall (188 at least, 190 recommended), all with good heading and anticipation, the one in the middle should be really quick and the other too should have good passing.

Wing-Backs - crossing, work rate and stamina, technical can be average but mental and physical need to be good.

Carrileros - are basically 2 box to box so use 2 box to box but privilege the defensive attributes.

Playmaker - dribble, vision, passing, agility.

Forwards - Left Side deadly in front of the goal, Right Side more technical, but both quick (14 or 15 is enough)

My Results

It was close to Juventus till January but then the lack of good backup players showed that we couldn't compete with them in the end of the season.[/color]



In the end of the season I knew that if I had better backup players I could do serious damage, hope you enjoy!
