This is the ONE tactic that I keep coming back to, a beautiful shape and structure that has the team playing wonderful football.
The Style
Gasperini has Atalanta playing some of the most lethal, attacking football in Europe. They've become everybody's favourite second team.
Gasperini is known for a version of the 3412, which this tactic is in-game, if not on paper.
You'll find the Wing-backs provide a creative outlet and work hard for the 90 minutes.
Although the focus of the play is through the centre they will always be there with the outlet and will focus on getting the ball back into the box as soon as possible, providing the numerous attackers with clear chances.
Gomez and Ilicic were brilliant for me at the beginning, initially I played with a F9 but switched that to a Treq and Ilicic was superb throughout.
The positional interchanges are brilliant, they've drop deep and switch roles throughout - a nightmare for any defence.
If you like your tactics to have technically beautiful football, lethal counter attacks, intricate passing and lots of goals, then this tactic is the one for you.
The Results
Documented on my YouTube channel with the Atalanta Adventure, we went on to win everything, which was documented in this All or Nothing episode - if you'd like to see some gameplay:

To test this one out, I started up a save using Dalian Pro in Darthfurion's World Super League setup. Due to the team's low reputation and low standing in the league structure, we're not exactly able to run out and sign a ton of wonderkids.
Despite the fact that I'm running a largely ragtag side of players that I was able to get in the first transfer window, the team has been absolutely dominating. We haven't been blowing out the competition; however, we have seen 60% and up of possession in every single game, and we simply do not give up goals. I can only imagine what this tactic looks like with an actually decent side!
This is the first time in FM that I've ever coached a team that had over 70% of possession for an entire match. This tactic is absolutely worth the download!
I subscribed to your YouTube page as well, by the way, and will check it out. Thank you!
