This was originally a private database that I would make for myself but since I realised a lot of other people would like access to the save, I decided to share it with the public.

Unfortunately you cannot start off to manage them, and I'm unsure if there is a way through the In-game editor or an add-on which allows you to instantly manage the team. What I suggest to do is when the new season rolls around (21st of June) you add a new manager and then take control of the club. The AI manager should have already bought around 8-25 players from my testing.
How to add A-League Expansion to FM19
1. Extract the contents of the .zip archive to a temporary location.
2. Move the .fmf file to: documents/sports interactive/football manager 2019/editor data. Create the editor data folder if it doesn't exist.
3. Open FM19 and start a new career. In the top right of the screen, under "Database", make sure A-League Expansion is ticked.
I would like to credit davie77 from SI Forums for helping me with this project.
