FM26 Moneyball Scout Tool - Free Browser App

Moneyball Scout FM26 is a free, browser-based scouting and decision tool for Football Manager 2026 — built on the Moneyball principle: maximum value per euro spent. Import your squad CSV and know who to sign, why, at what price, and what the risk is.

This is a major update since the last post — full audit of the scoring engine, several real bugs found and fixed (including a complete rebuild of role detection, because too many players were silently miscategorized before), a new transparency feature, and now full English support throughout, not just the menus.

Completely free. No login. No installation. Everything runs locally in your browser.

HOW IT WORKS

Export your player view from FM26 as a CSV (or HTML) using the built-in view export. Drop it into the tool. No plugin, no server. Takes about 10 seconds.

FEATURES

Moneyball Score – a 0–100 score built from Performance (50%), Cost Efficiency (30%), Age Profile (12%) and Risk (8%), weighted per position group rather than one-size-fits-all. Every metric behind the number is visible with its weight and raw value — no black box.

Scout Verdict – BUY / WATCH / HOLD / AVOID, backed by the actual metrics behind it, not a generic label.

Best Steal / Hidden Gem / Immediate Impact / Resale King / Overpriced – appear immediately after import. Each card shows the actual player, the key stat behind the claim, and a direct link to the full report.

Deal Analysis – the case for the signing and the case against it, side by side. Plus the single biggest risk, a best-case and worst-case scenario, and a model-derived bid range. Built so the report tells you why to hesitate too, not just why to buy.

Budget & Transfer Efficiency – Fair Value, Recommended Fee, Never Above, Break-Even, Resale Potential, and estimated ROI in one panel.

Similar Players – comparable players from your own dataset with quick comparison tags like "2 yrs younger" or "7 pts worse cost-eff." at a glance.

Scout Reports – a full write-up for every player, including a performance radar against the group average.

Import Audit (new) – after every import, the tool tells you honestly what it couldn't figure out: unrecognized roles, unknown leagues (with player counts, exportable), and uncertain matches. No silent guessing — if it's not sure, it says so instead of quietly defaulting.

English / German – fully bilingual now, toggle in Settings. Previously only the menus were translated; the actual analysis text wasn't. That's fixed.
