I created the players as precisely as possible (faces, birthday, size, position, strengh, weakness ect) but be indulgent, find informations for young players is difficult and understand that there may be errors (for example, I did not find 2 dates of birth for 2 players, only the year).
How to Install
- Put the "Wonderkids.fmf" file into : Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2019\editor data- Put the "faces wonderkids" folder into : Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2019\graphics\faces\
When you create your database, don't forget, you need to select all the country where plays the wonderkids, for example, you need to select all the paraguayans players playing in Paraguay to appear Fernando Ovelar (like this : https://img.lght.pics/CkWl.png ).
Same thing for Takefusa Kubo with Japan, Mikkel Tveinen with Norway etc.
If the faces doesn't correspond to the player, its because you played with other databases who adds new peoples in the game.
To fix this you need to select only my update or you need to change the ID of the png face and the config.xml file.
Find Xavi Simons profil and check his new ID that the game give him, then add +1 every time to the other png files in the same order for example :
1915386897 (old id) Xavi Simons => 1915370001 (new id)
1915386898 (old id) Karamoko Dembélé => 1915370002 (+1)
1915386899 (old id) Youssoufa Moukoko => 1915370003 (+2)
1915386900 (old id) Takefusa Kubo => 1915370004 (+3)
etc etc
After renaming all the png files, use fmXML tool to create a new config.xml file.

was looking for cherki
Second, i wanted to help everyone with easy renumbering to match their database.
https://i.imgur.com/jnRpBNo.png
it took me 3 seconds to do it, so can you. get bulk rename utility follow RED marks on image. Meaning Click "digits" in tab named "Remove" select "Suffix" in tab "numbering" Now since starting unit is Xavi, get his ID in your game, then put that ID in "Start" (numbering tab still) , increment 1 , Select all image files. Dont accidentals check other files. Click rename. Done. What happens is that tool will rename all files to new names starting with ID of your XAVI ID increasing by 1 every next file. And since all files are properly and there are no missing files in numbers, its easy job
thank anyways
One update: Liam Morrison from Celtic to Bayern
could you maybe create some talents from countries in africa or Asia or maybe talents who will play good at the U17 world Cup?

I'll see what I can fix myself to my liking in the editor.

Of course, also I never said that my vision and my feeling was the truth. That's why I accept feedback. It is already difficult to agree with pros players. So imagine with kids. You are free to change the potentials if you want in the editor but I could not make an update that can satisfy everyone.
I have to put big potential to some players otherwise there is nothing realistic to put only average players. But I agree that putting big potential at this age is playing lottery.
For Xavi Simons, there is a lot of hype yes but he is the captain of his national team and he plays with intelligence. In my test, he has become a good European player but is not a top-level player.
Takefusa did really well in pre-season with Madrid (not Halilovic and Odegaard), it is already international and is considered by many experts as the most promising.
For Cherki, OL is known for training world-class players. And according to these trainers, they have never seen a talent like him. In France many scouts say it will be better than Mbappe ...
He is outclassed in all categories, he is the youngest scorer in Youth League, and he made his debut with the pro team this summer at age 15 in friendly game by making a good game. He is very technically, humiliates his opponents like younger Neymar and he gives the impression of being bored. He has both feet, he can dribble, shot and pass the ball with both feet.
His weaknesses? Finishing and collective play. Two things I wrote in the editor. Finally in my tests he made a career at best equivalent to Hazard.
A lot of these guys are a bit overrated in my opinion. They're mainly marketing products. A player like Xavi Simons has struggled a lot when he played in the U19 Barcelona team for example. Where as players like Moriba and Ansu Fati have shown a lot, hence why they've been given important contracts.
Kubo's often been said to be the Japanese Messi but similar comments have been said about Halilovic and Odegaard. And Cherki? Well we don't really know but he's already in the Lyon B team. He could be great but his ceiling shouldn't be more than 170-175 in my opinion.
I tried to use the same numbers and the same proportions that Sports interactive did. By also giving non-fixed potentials, their potential can vary from 30 pts.
So I tried to give priority to big nations (France, Spain, Germany, etc.). These are countries that give players playing in big clubs, for example in defense France has today:
Lenglet & Umtiti (Barça)
Varane (Real Madrid)
Laporte (Man City)
Zouma (Chelsea)
Pavard & Hernandez (Bayern)
Kimpembe (PSG).
It's not crazy to give a -9 to a French defender since the probability to see him playing in a big European is very high.
Just as seeing a spanish midfielder become a world-class player is very high considering the amount of Spanish midfielders talent.
It's not as if I had given great potential to players from Hungary or the US without wanting to disrespect these countries.
However, you're still right, I reduced the potential of some players.
So with 181 players created : there is only 31 players above -9 PA. Its 30 less that's the SI game give to u21.
You can re-download it and tell me if its better.
Most of them shouldn't go higher than 160 in my opinion.
@drorka yes there is shortlist in it
