Football Manager 2022 Now FREE

Sports Interactive announced that Football Manager 2022 is now free to play for PC/Mac users for a few days. This is the third time Football Manager becomes free-to-play in its entirety and not as a half-season teaser demo. Of course there is a time limit you can play the game without activating it, but still.


If you already have a Steam, Epic or Xbox account, getting access to the game is simple. When you head to the FM22 page in the respective store, you’ll see that instead of saying ‘Buy Now’, it says ‘Get for Free’ or ‘Play For Free'. Clicking on the button places the game in your library where it will remain fully playable until the free play period ends.

FM22 on Steam (recommended)

If you don't already have a Steam account, go to steampowered.com, click on ‘Install Steam’ and follow the instructions. Once Steam is installed and you’ve set up an account, the process is the same as above.

For Epic and Xbox, head to your store of choice and follow the instructions to install the relevant game launcher. Once you’ve registered for a free account, the process to access FM22 for free is the same as above. The Xbox promotion is only for Xbox Live Gold subscribers.

After this, you can continue your journey by purchasing a Steam key for the game at any time as your career progress will be saved in your Documents folder.
