Retro Database 1987-88 for FM23

I found on the internet a FM 19 database for the season 87-88. It was done by ethan76 from the Sports Interactive Community. He gave me permission to rework it for FM 23, and with the help of Wolf_pd, whose files I reworked, I came up with this result.

I know the db isn't perfect, but I wanted to let people who are a little nostalgic to play something new until the release of the new FM... There are certainly mistakes, which are not intentional, and I hope you will point them out to me.

I had a desire to make a regen file as well, but I just didn't have time... Also, I didn't make graphics for this mod, because I don't have enough knowledge for that. If someone has the will and desire to do it, I have nothing against it

Season 1987/88 Database - 6 Playable Nations

The first divisions of the following nations are completed.

• England (Premier League)
  
• Italy (Serie A)
  
• Spain (La Liga)
  
• France (Ligue 1)
  
• Germany (Bundesliga)
  
• Yugoslavia (First League)
  

Also, many players added to clubs from that era.

Installation instructions

1. Move the downloaded files to your "editor data" folder:

Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2023/editor data

2. Open Football Manager 2023 > Start a new career > Select all files you downloaded, and select 23.4.0 database.

3. Click on the "Advanced Setup" button to select the leagues to play.
