
The aim of this tactic is to dominate the ball and allow the double pivot to control the game, whilst the front 4 have the freedom to roam and interchange positions causing havoc for the opposition's defence.
The tactic doesn't keep possession for the sake of it though, teams were able to be the top scorers in the league regularly without compromising defensive solidity.
The double-pivot help to control the game, dominating possession with a season average of 64% and 25k passes. I was able to dominate the league with the highest goals scored and best defence, whilst playing beautiful football.
