Clubs want more money , so a part of the ECL members started their own European Continental Club Competition.
The clubs who enter , their spots are exclusive for this competition..

But if you do not like the clubs who enter this competition , you can change it.
You can kick the Dutch or Greek etc. and replace them with more Spanish or English etc.

Advanced rules are used for this continental league system.

Teams are NOT SWAPPED to a foreign league were clubs become all Spanish or so.
All clubs keep their national status and keep playing their national leagues and cups etc.
When qualified for Europa , the clubs play in the Champions League or Europa League.

A simular file was made by me for MF2016.
But i had removed the clubs from their national leagues to play this league system only.
But clubs were not managable after this move.

Updated the fixture dates, renamed the round names ( they are in Dutch ) and resolved some small mistakes.

3.1 Competition Info.

Clubs entering this league system will earn alot by the huge amount of start money and prize money.

All clubs play once each other.
Lvl 1 - 20 clubs make 19 games.

Last 4 relegated directly.

Lvl2 - 32 clubs over 2 groups of 16 makes 15 games per group.

N°1 of both group promotes directly.
N°2 <->N°5 of each group play a promotion semi-final.
Winners of the semi-final play the groups final to promote to Lvl1.

N°1 of both groups play each other for the overall championship.

Selection and disciplinary rules have been made but i'm not good at it.

How to install this league expansion in Football Manager 2017
Extract the contents of the downloaded .rar file using a free tool such as 7-zip or The Unarchiver.

Move the extracted .fmf files to the following location:
Documents / Sports Interactive / Football Manager 2017 / editor data
Create the "editor data" folder if it doesn't exist.

Open FM 2017 and start a new save-game with the databases of your choice selected.

It's highly recommended to disable "Do not Add Key Staff" and enable "Add Players to Playable Teams" in advanced options.
