Barcelona uses Positional (or Dispositional) Play with a 4-3-3 formation. They prefer to: as does any Dispositional Play squad.

Pass lightly to improve counterpress.
To generate imbalance, change the ball.
manipulate the lines of the opposition
Over the sidelines, create triangles.
Observe line-breaking passes.
Have the majority of the ball and establish numerical or qualitative supremacy throughout the field.
