Football Manager 2024 League Updates - AFC Leagues for FM24 by MasterIgor v24.16 (with Coefficients)
Hello everyone,

here is the league pack for all nations/federations in Asia. It also includes the continental competitions for the 2024 format with coefficients.

! for Official 24.3.0 Update Database only !
Creating the world is a very time consuming task, and I do not have the time to support and test all databases. So I am going with the latest version only. The bright side is that it is for free. Tips are more than welcome though :-)

Hey @MasterIgor thanks for the db. As you might now, ISL will have 16 teams starting from 2026 and I-League will become the second division with 4 teams getting promoted and relegated each year. How can we implement this change in the editor if you haven't done it in this db?
  • MasterIgor's avatar
@breakthegame: the only thing I discovered is maybe the chinese second division has maybe no valid transfer window, which could lead to them not being able to sign players other than their own u21. How many years were you into the game? Could you please check if they are signing players?
It's definately something I put on my list to change when I do a next update of AFC.

@hilmywafi: I checked 24.4, and the rules for Indonesia L1 are 5 foreigners + 1 south east asian.
did you mean L2? because rules there are 1 foreigner + 1 AFC. Seems correct to me. Please check if it loaded my file correctly.

Thanks for your job in Vietnam, it seems to work.
I'm in China now. I got Guangzhou who got relegated in third tier. I took them and I'm winning everything. I thought it was because my team was better. In fact, yes, because League 2 and 3 don't registrate their better players and play the U21 when I play my main one.,It seems like a bug to me. First division is ok though

apologies - especially to Vietnam players - because I seem to have made a few mistakes in that file :-(. But with v24.4 I now also corrected the AFC cup qualifications from the VLeague1.
Because the game sends qualifiers from leagues to continental in june and the VLeague finishes only in july, so I had to add a delay, otherwise it was picking random teams.
So now, V-League 1 has correct league format, correct qualifications and the National Cup has correct dates set. so here you go :-)

@ultrafreshwilly: yes you are right, thanks for pointing that out. It must have happened when I changed from the 2023 to the 2023/2024 format, since V League 1 had a transition season. I will post a fix soon.

In the Vietnamese 1st division, the season is incorrectly set up to have teams play 13 games (teams play each other once) not play twice home & away. I checked D2 and D3, and those leagues have the correct amount of matches in playing teams in their leagues 2x.

my game is showing there are two database for each country like indian league system and the indian league and similarly to every database you have given has same issue how we can combine and use them together
can you help to resolve this issue cuz india has 3 division but i cannot play three division all together
wish i could send you the picture of the issue

@Senght, I did not do asian conf cup, but if you can send some screenshots and maybe tell me if there are missing teams and if so from which nation, then I can check that, otherwise it will be difficult to find. And after xmas, right now i am family guy :)

Does the link work now? It did for me, maybe the host platform had some downtime

Link doesn't seem to work for me. Comes up with 'Access Denied'

Hi MasterIgor, there is something wrong with the Asian Conf Cup ASEAN zone. There are 3 groups and 1 group does not have any fixtures (the group with only 3 teams). Can you fix?
  • MasterIgor's avatar
hello, and yes, Royal Thai Air Force 2 is the name in the original FM Database. I didn't rename it - I am not a specialist on every country, I just more or less verify if all leagues have the teams they should have.
And still not enough info to do AFC Continental cups. We have to be patient, and it gives me time to do other confederations.
  • Srdmnt211's avatar
@anatidae royal thai air force 2 is from fm default database. AFC Continental still not have enough proper information.
  • anatidae's avatar
any news on the champions league update?
  • anatidae's avatar
thanks for the files, just noticed one thing, royal thai air force fc in thailand is called 'royal thai air force 2' in the game, idk if that's just because you had to make the old club name extinct but thats the only issue i've seen running in asean so far
  • MasterIgor's avatar
    @Srdmnt211
Yes, I saw that page, but it is still unclear and not final (it says so in the yellow boxes). It says 12 teams for east and west, but then 13 teams are listed. And there is a preliminary round - or not? And 8 matchdays, but who plays who?
These things need to be final before I can make that in FM Editor.

Cheers. I guess I'll try to run a save with only Vietnam loaded and sim a few seasons to check. Will try during the week
  • MasterIgor's avatar
@breakthegame: the V League is a 2 round league without championship/relegation. I understand you however because in 2023 season it is like this.
However, Vietnam has changed its season dates after that and we are now in the 2023-2024 season. That and future seasons run from october to july.
This, because it is the future and not a one time occurrence, is the format which I used for the vietnam rule file.
It can be that the game picks vietnam teams for continental cups already in june. I will investigate this. In any case it should be correct from the next season onwards.

    I'm back with Vietnam problems.
Does the league has a championship round and a relegation round? It doens't seem to happen when I look at the rules.
Also, the Cup seems too early (As an August tournament), date of start and end is 1900 and results appear for 2024/25 season already... Binh Duong plays Champions League but I don't think they should as they finished 12th last year. Would it be because of those dates? thanks
  • breakthegame's avatar
It's fine, I used the starting date of an other country
  • breakthegame's avatar
Hello. I start in Vietnam, early start is mid September but my team already played the first round of cup, and lost. I can't start a few weeks before.
    *Thanks
