Football Manager 2024 League Updates - AFC Leagues for FM24 by MasterIgor v24.15 (with Coefficients)
Hello everyone,

Creating the world is a very time consuming task, and I do not have the time to support and test all databases. So I am going with the latest version only. The bright side is that it is for free. Tips are more than welcome though :-)

    @MasterIgor : As for my issue, It seems that the ACLE already pick teams correctly according to the format. But the information in "Rules" of the league and "Qualification places" in Asia tab didn't adjust according to ACLE format. I think it also happen to other league as well.

    @nvmpomza: to be honest, I dont know all the details of Timo's pack.
    All I can say is that I try to make formats as close to real life as possible
    From the bits I saw from Timos pack, he adds much more lower leagues but they aren't always real life formats.
    You can just check and compare them and play with what you like the most.

    Hi MasterIgor,

    Your data are amazing. However, I don't mean to disrespect you with this question below:

    As I found Timo megapack and yours, I would like to know what difference and whose is the latest update with correct data.

    Kindly let me know, and I am sorry if I offend you. Thank you in advance.

    @rayzard: no that will not affect the coefficients.
    Just beware, if you use my nation files and add more teams to divisions, then that can break them.
  • MasterIgor's avatar
    @caua_lopes: no changes to China. And filesize is the same between 24.13 and 24.14.. at least at my end

    Hello, Igor.

    Has there been any change in the China file? It is not on your changelog but the file has different sizes between the versions.

    Thank you!

    Is it okay for me to add more team for lower division or change the league format for top division in the database. will it effect the coefficients?

    @Fapslender
    - That there is no Preliminary Round can happen if the Elite/Two Winner from the previous year already qualified through national slots. In that case there is only a Playoff Round
    - You finished 3rd in the league you say. The qualification process is 1st-CupWinner-2nd-3rd-... so it can be if the Cup Winner is a not in the top 3 of the league, in that case your team qualifies as 4th.
    - Depending on the coefficients of Thailand, there can be 4 teams or 3 teams in the AFC Competitions. If Thailand is not in the top 3 of Asia East, then they have only 3 teams.
    - if that is the case then you don't qualify. The fact that it says you qualified, I cannot answer really.

    At the end of 2024/2025 my team finished 3rd in the league (thai league), it say my team qualify for ACLE prelim stage but then at the start of 2025/2026 ACLE doesn't have prelim stage and my team are not compete in ACLE or ACL2 anymore. Did I do something wrong? why is this happen?

    Can I ask if it’s possible to revamp the J league finances because surprisingly they make huge incomes through sales despite doing bad transfer sales. Example Urawa makes $70 million follow by Kawasaki making $60 million.
    I always notice Kawasaki always have low ticket sales in my saves which I don’t feel is realistic if you get what I mean. Especially for a club that makes the most National team players and made it to the finals.

    excuse the delay but I finally have some answers (you may like them or you may not)
    1) foreign rules in AFC cups: they are there in 2023, from 2024 onwards, no more restrictions.
    2) Leagues going up or down: I have ran a test until 2058 in the game and several leagues have gone up or down a few spots. The movement is slow, but it happens
    3) Japan: Fujieda did not disappear in any of my test runs. So I don't know what happened. Do you use any other files other than mine? There is a transition from 2023 to 2024 where the number of teams are reduced but as I said - it works. (I don't know how it is if you start in 2024 because this is not possible without modifications)
    4) Korean substitute rules. I will check soon and update if necessary. Reserve or university leagues I can't do - I apologize but I don't have the time to do them.
    5) all AFC competitions seem to work fine in my large tests. However, I am going to make a small update to the coefficient system, because I have recently learnt on how points are awarded.

    if I missed anything, please ask/post again

    Hi, I have a MacBook Air and I don't understand why when I put the documents in the data editor folder it doesn't appear in the game. I would like to know if you could help me or do you have a Steam Workshop where I can download it? I don't know because on my MacBook the only thing that appears is what I put in the tactics folder: the skins, the data editor, the routines, the training, but nothing appears. I hope you can help me because I would love to use this mod. Thank you in advance.

    @skybluesng - I've got 360 files in my folder. It's not a problem providing they're all compatible.

    Hey guys, I have a question relating the ACL, in real life it seems like they've abolished the foreing players rule, have you changed that already? Is it unlimited foreign players in ACL and base game foreign spots in league rules?
  • AiZaK's avatar
    No, it's not necesary create another folder. You put all the archives in Editor Data
  • skybluesng's avatar

  • AiZaK's avatar

    Hi, Thanks for the database, having great fun so far.

    I'm in my 3rd season in the Macau league, and not a single league in Asia has gone up or down in ranking in the coefficient. (Competition Rankings). Is this an error or could someone please explain why this is. Thank you
  • laesmas's avatar
    Ok I tested the Japan file a few times and whenever the season changes from 2023 to 2024, Fujieda MYFC is kicked out of J2 league. There is definitely a problem with rule transitions from 2023 to 2024. It's always Fujieda that never gets to play in 2024.
  • Fdrllw's avatar
    @MasterIgor

    No, I didn't change the rule just the database 2 weeks ago.

    And now I have made some amendments to the rules and database.
    I went ahead and read the official rules and regulations for each Singapore active league wondering if you would like to help me vet the new edited Singapore file.

    Cheers

    Sorry for tons of comments recently but just one last thing to say is that there is no reserve league in Korea. There used to be something called R League until 2022 and it hasn't been held since 2023. Only about 6 football teams in K league were willing to join R league so KFA basically decided not to hold it. It can be held again in the future if more teams are willing to participate but for now there is no reserve league in Korea.
    One league I suggest to add for korea is something called U League, which stands for university league. It is, just like it says, a league for university teams in Korea. Many professional Korean football players join universities prior to joining professional teams, so I guess it's worth adding.
  • laesmas's avatar
    One more thing. Starting from 2024, K league 1 and Korea cup rules allow 9 substitute members. Seems that they stay as 7 in your file. (K league 2 stays the same with 7 btw)
