Some tips from my guide on reddit :
In the first episode, the tactic doesn't rely on counter-pressing and still manages to crush the Premier League with Everton!
Many players misunderstand "counter-press" — they think it means players will constantly sprint and collapse due to fatigue.
In reality, you can easily manage this by properly resting your players after each match. With smart rotation and recovery, even pressing systems can be sustainable over a full season.
For this series, I won't buy any players. I'll just play one full season with the existing squad — pure and simple. I've already played many solo shots already, but now I'm starting to release them publicly here as well. Feel free to share your experiences too!
So, what's good about Everton?
Strikers! Calvert-Lewin is pure magic. Combine him with a good corner routine, and he will score goals for fun.
Beto and Broja also help maintain strong output, although Beto feels a bit less impactful compared to FM23.
Calvert-Lewin scored 53 goals across the season. He's an overall very complete striker.

Let me know if you like the series — and feel free to suggest teams or styles you'd like to see played next!
