Deep Seated Hounds - Custom Gegenpress FM19

I've been watching and playing football for 20+ years now. This tactic is most probably my ideal style of football.

Nowadays you only have two to three teams in the world that make people dream when they turn on their tv. Those are Barcelona, Liverpool and Guardiola's Manchester city.

Those three teams play three different styles of football but they all have the same thing in common. Their players with defensive duties are generally recruited and groomed to possess good passing and ball control.

I've tried a lot of tiki takas and control tactics but I've never been sold on defensive midfielders and midfield 3s. If I had to give a particular reason, it's because I like more attacking and fast football than patient and dominating control.

This tactic basically aims to press the opposition defenders and force them to play long balls on your back three. Needless to say your defenders need good marking, jumping/heading for this to work.

Duties and key attributes:

SK-Att : Use whatever keeper you have or buy one with good rushing and decision making.

BPD-def : Marking, Aerial skills, Strength, Bravery.

CD-def : Pace, positioning, tackling, Concentration.

CWB-su : Stamina, Acceleration, off the ball

DLP-def : Workrate, passing, first touch

SS : Off the ball, Workrate

CF-Su :Off the ball

PF-Att : Off the ball, Workrate, Aggression
