Migration update

The tough part is done

Wanted to write an update regarding the pending migration to a new site engine. I simulated the whole migration process tonight in success, and that is really great news. But (apart from the successful simulation) as usual there are both bad and good news.

The bad news are that some of the current site features will be gone temporarily (maybe permanently if we don't see any use of bringing them back), including user control panel (as you know it), internal page bookmarks, friends, forum post attachments and topic notifier (as you know it). The site skin will be gone for a couple of weeks as well, but will return as an option.
There will also be some transition issues on most of our past pages due to change of bbcodes and colors (maybe some broken images too). So, once the new version is up, we'd really need your help spotting all errors and leftovers, in order to fix everything.

The good news are that no content will be lost, your members accounts will remain intact, all current issues will be solved (such as login trouble), new exciting features will be introduced as well as a new awesome site skin. We have some interesting plans for this season, we're looking forward to improving this site further and taking the next step.
It would seem that bad news are more than the good, but trust me when I say that in fact all news are good, hah.

If you're wondering when this migration will be complete and you'll finally be able to see the new site... well, I'm hoping it will happen until the end of this month, otherwise early September. I don't want to miss any crucial details during the process, so I really have to make sure everything is double-checked before the final switch.

Thanks once again for your patience and understanding, and of course for your undying support through the years.
