Marshall Mathers is now well settled in to his new club, and has managed F.C. Viikingit in six club friendlies. Despite speaking of his happiness to have settled in to the club so well, there is a major issue going on in the Viikingit camp, with star striker Obi Metzger wanting to leave for a bigger club in a bigger league.
The striker from Sierra Leone is a favourite among the F.C. Viikingit faithful, and his recent requests to leave the club have left his fans shattered and devastated. He doesn't feel that F.C. Viikingit can go far enough to match his personal ambitions, and he also has a dislike for manager Marshall Mathers. He doesn't think that Mr. Mathers possesses the abilities to lead Viikingit to glory, and he has told his manager this several times.
If these conversations have not broken their fragile relationship enough, all of Metzger's tranfer requests have been rejected by his manager, infuriating the player. Mathers believes that F.C. Viikingit is the right place for Metzger, and he does not want to let his best player go. Mathers believes that he can turn Metzger over and convince him that there is no better place for him.
Is this the right thing for Shady to do? What would you do if you were in his shoes? Would you keep your star player, even though he wants to leave?
