Paterson In Cardiff Talks
Rangers fan favourite Callum Paterson is in talks with Premier League side Cardiff City and is close to sealing a deal, accoring to BT sources.
It is believed that Rangers have accepted a £3,000,000 deal for the winger who flew over to Wales earlier this morning.
Paterson was brought to the Ibrox by Dean Byrne in 2015 for £1,700,000, after topping the goalscoring charts with Hearts.
Ever since then, Callum has become a real favourite with the fans, striking fear into oppostion defences across the country and finishing with the Golden boot at Rangers twice
His most prolific campaign was in 2017-2018, when he bagged 17 goals and 5 assists in 28 games, helping Rangers lift the title along the way
However with the arrival of Matt Phillips, Paterson has struggled for form and only managed 4 goals in the whole of last season, while his replacement bagged 16.
A total of 8 English clubs have reportedly bidded for Paterson, but early signs suggest that Cardiff are in pole position.
