Rangers handed group of death
Rangers have been handed a tough group in their return to Champions league football, containing the likes of PSG and Bayern Munich
Rangers have not featured in Europe's elite competition since 2011, and will be the first time the head into it as a Newco, having previously gone into administration in 2012.
The Gers won the Scottish Premiership last year, ending a 6 year dominance streak from Celtic. Having done so, it confirmed that Ibrox would host some of the worlds finest players once again.
Die Bayern have failed to build off their 2013 success in the competition, failing to win it since. However with 6 consecutive bundesliga titles under their belt, one can only assume that they will be right up there by the end.
Le PSG are still yet to collect the famous European trophy, and to many people's beliefs they have been the competition's underpreformers in the past few years. They will count on their stars such as Stephan El Shaarawy and Kevin Strootman to fire them to glory.
Finally Zenit St.Petersburg will also prove stern oppostion for Dean Byrne's men with the Brazilian Hulk preforming wonders on russian soil. If Rangers are to get anything out of this group, the two fixtures with Zenit will likely be targeted.
