"Welcome to our press conference I would like to introduce our new manager Doug McKenzie."
"What up everyone, the name is Doug McKenzie and I am happy to be here."
"Many will think hiring of Doug is a stupid idea especially many of our readers, why did you hire him and what do you say to the nonbelievers?"
"I hired him on the fact he seems like a great fit, he has a lot of promise and we felt like doing something that would make people look us up, so basically a bit of his resume and to market our team."
"Yet he has never been a manager, are you worried this will fail??"
"Absolutely but I have the faith."
"Doug how does this feel?"
"I am absolutely awestruck by the fact Mr. Gibson gave me the chance to manage. Managing in England is kind of for the "good ole' boy's" and I am here to break that mould,eh."
"I noticed on your twitter you use a derogatory word called "Hoser" why and can you tell us what one is?
"No problem mate, a Hoser is someone from my area of Canada that is an idiot, but in Canada it is not a slur but more like common slang, also before you ask a Bunny Hop is a hoodie and a Texas Mickey is a type of alcoholic beverage."
"Do you really you can bring success to this club and not fail."
"No Shit, are you seriously asking such a dry question, do you expect me to say naw I am going to be a big fat failure turtle, take off."
"Excuse me??"
"That is our version of "piss off", basically you just annoyed me with a very sub sophomoric question."
"Like the Soup Nazi in Seinfeld, NO MORE QUESTIONS FOR YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, NEXT."
"What are your goals for the next few years?"
"Realistically this season I am aiming between, mid table and promotion playoff, the guys and Steve know that it is going to be hard and I am not looking to blow smoke up their asses and make false promises like other managers do. I believe in a few years we can move up to the Premier League."
"Are you enjoying this city so far?"
"Well so far yes but it has only been a few days. Are there any hockey bars in town? Well I am out have a good day everyone."

Honors even at Elland Road

In Doug McKenzie's first match as manager Boro were held to a draw by Leeds United in a close fought Sky Bet Championship Match played a Leed's Elland Road. Winger Emanuel Ledesma got us off to a flying start with a goal from 15 meters in the 3rd minute. Leed's equalizer came from El-Hadji Diouf as he seized on Gibson's mistake that lead to a penalty shot.

"Very happy that we were able to draw, Leeds are a good club and I give the boys all the credit in the world, right now Ben (Gibson) is doing well and he will learn from his mistake."-Doug McKenzie.

Our next match will be on the 30th when Bolton come to town for Doug's first home match.

Great couple of updates and fantastic news to be linking up with Manchester United. Which youngsters you got your eye on? :)

December was a pretty ok month for Boro. In the six matches that were played they managed to win only two draw once and get beaten three times. The month started when McKenzie and his troops went on a two match road trip to both Derby County and Birmingham City. The first match resulted in a win. The 1-2 victory was Doug McKenzie's first victory as a manager, previously the last two matches resulted in draws. Next against Birmingham City the team finally lost. This was upsetting but many positives were seen. After the road trip the club would return home to face Brighton. This would be their second straight loss. Once again they kept it close with a 2-3 loss. The 21st would see a road trip to London where Boro faced Milwall, this would result in a draw. On Boxing Day relegation zoned Burnley came to town. They would end up getting creamed 5-2 thanks to a Lukas Jutkiewicz hatrick. The final match of the month would be an opportunity to beat league leaders Reading in front of a home crowd. Reading would end up winning 2-3 in front of 19,186 people.

Next month Boro face Blackpool twice once in league play and the other in the FA Cup. Also the team will face clubs such as Bolton and Wigan. With it being the new year the winter transfer window will be open. As soon as moves are made please check our facebook and twitter to find out who is moving where.
