@Pompey and NVD. Thanks for the kind words. It is getting better. Right now in March I am 9 away from second. I hope I get that because playoffs scare the shit out of me.

So far in the month of March Middlesbrough FC has been on a roll. As of the first of April the team has not lost in thirteen league matches. The team has continued their impressive winning streak and are looking forward towards the next few months. One of the highlights was four straight matches with out conceding a goal.

We have played a cornucopia of matches throughout England. Some of the clubs include Sheffield Wednesday, Nottingham Forest, Queens Park Rangers and Brighton. Each match was a win for the club and one step closer to a possible promotion. In the last few remaining matches the club will hold many special events and promotions.

Once again Jutkiewicz would be the RAMSDENS Player of the Month. Once again he would be the leader in goals scored for the club. His most impressive match came against Bournemouth where he scored a hattrick.

Yet he should not be the only person getting the credit for the month. Goalkeeper Jason Steele also got the nod for the Player of the Month. During March he had a total of six clean sheets while only conceding one goal.

Next month and a week after will be very important for the club as we enter the final league matches. The club will be facing the likes of Birmingham, Derby and the final match at Yeovil on the third of May. Hopefully the boys are still doing as well as now.

"Lukas has been the key to our success and I do not see him letting up anytime soon, without him I doubt this club would be where they are today."- Doug McKenzie.

In other news Doug Mckenzie has signed a contract extension that will see him stay with the club until the end of the 2015-16 season. Congrats friend we are all behind you.

"Feels great that Steve trust me to lead the club in for the foreseeable future."-Doug McKenzie

Two goals from Lukas Jutkiewicz saw Middlesbrough move into the Sky Bet Championship promotion places after a 4-2 victory over Birmingham at The Riverside Stadium. After new manager Doug McKenzie's first month in November the club was in 17th, now he has lead them to the top two spots. Currently Boro are three points away from the top spot.

Striker Lukas Jutkiewicz got Middlesbrough off to a flyer by scoring a fluke goal in the third minute. An error from Birmingham's Kyle Bartley lead to a header from Center-Back Ben Gibson in the 16th minute. Midfielder Shane Ferguson pulled one back for Birmingham after 39 minutes.

Jutkiewicz would later add his second goal with a lob from 19 meters out in the 40th minute. Gibson then added his second with a well timed finish in the 55th. Birmingham would answer again when Captain Hayden Mullins scored in the 79th minute.

Middlesbrough have not lost a league match in 15 attempts. Also with the two Birmingham City goals Jason Steele's games without conceding a goal streak is over. Previously he did not allow a goal in six matches.
Preview: Yeovil v. Middlesbrough

Tomorrow's match between Yeovil and Middlesbrough will be a tightly contested affair. This is also the final match for both sides.

With not long to go until the end of the season, Middlesbrough are currently on a three match unbeaten streak and lie in second place in the Sky Bet Championship. Boro have won four of their last five away matches in league play. They also have secured promotion to the Barclays Premier League. Yeovil on the other hand are in 16th place.

This achievement is far and beyond expectations held at the start of the season, especially after the change in management. If Middlesbrough win they can possibly take first place in the league. A draw or loss from Brighton will give them the top spot if they beat Yeovil.

Odds from Sky Bet:
Yeovil 11:5
Draw 11:5

Middlesbrough clinch Sky Bet Championship title

On a mild spring afternoon at Huish Park, Middlesbrough's Rhys Williams lived the dream of many supporters as he and his team secured the Sky Bet Championship title. Thanks to Nottingham Forest beating Brighton 2-0, Boro were able to move up to the top spot. It was a celebration at The Riverside Stadium and the club were able to lift the trophy after the final wistle.

Middlesbrough were not even picked to be in the top six at the end of the season, especially after the change in management in November. Yet they proved everyone wrong and were able to win the league. This is the clubs first Sky Bet Championship win since 1995.

With the win Middlesbrough are now going to the Premier League. This will be the first time since the 2008/09 season the team will be playing top flight football. Elsewhere Brighton has secured the second place spot so they will be moving on up for the first time since the 1982/83 season. Reading, Blackburn, Nottingham Forest and Watford will now be competing for the third spot in the upcoming playoffs.
Yaaaaay! Nice job :D

What a year for Boro. We were able to pull of the unexpected. Winning first place in the Championship and going to the EPL next year. After Tony Mowbray was sacked many of us had no clue what would happen to the team. At one point we were on the way to League One. Yet it was not until our savior came from Canada. On 13/11/2013. Mr. Doug McKenzie a 26 year old from Saskatoon joined us. Many were not happy but it looks like he proved the doubters wrong.

RAMSDENS Players of the Year: Lukas Jutkiewicz

For many of the players the end of the season has came with awards. Star striker Lukas Jutkiewicz won the Player of the Year, Top Goal Scorer and Sky Bet Championship Players' Team of the Year awards. He is also the Ramsdens Player of the Year. Lukas' biggest accomplishment was his 30 goals in league play. Many in the media he is the reason why we won the league.

"I was already good when Doug came to the club, but with his system I was able to produce more and help the club get promoted."- Lukas Jutkiewicz

Brighton and Blackburn will be joining us as the newly promoted clubs in to the EPL. Sunderland, Hull and Crystal Palace will be replaced by us three. We know that everyone is upset since there will be no Wear-Tees Derby next season.

Next season the club will return to training sometime during July to get ready for the 2014/15 Premier League season. It is reported that this should be a busy season so stay tuned to mfc.co.uk for all the latest updates.

Nice season, well done.

Newly promoted Middlesbrough FC have been busy in the last few days adding to their squad. The club who is looking to survive next season signed two players with international experience. Defender Charlie Mulgrew and Midfielder Markus Henriksen have joined the club.

Charlie Mulgrew joins Boro from Celtic FC for a total of £5.25M. Previously at Celtic he helped the club win three straight SPFL Titles and multiple play of the year awards. Mulgrew should be an anchor for the defense next season as they play the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea and league champions Tottenham.

The next major signing in Teesside is Norwegian superstar Markus Henriksen from AZ. He was bought for £3.7M. Marcus is a young player at the age of 21 with a ton of promise. In his 16 appearances with Norway he has tallied up a single goal.

"Feels good to sign both Charlie and Markus, I know both players and supporters will love these moves."-Doug McKenzie.
Brilliant signings mate, glad to see Middlesbrough back into the Premier League! Hopefully you can beat Manchester City 8-1 once again ;)

Lol looking forward for more!
Charlie Mulgrew is an incredible player irl, don't know much about Markus Henriksen but I'm sure he;ll perform well for you :)
@NVD. I doubt that will happen this upcoming year but in 5 years lol

@Lucas. Henriksen is really good. In the past few FM games he became an animal.
