Today I actually am able to announce that we have broke our transfer record and signed 19 year old wonderkid Gabriele Ghedin. Ghedin has joined from Cittidella in Italy and has took a massive leap in retrospective divisions.
'Some people will say I have took a risk paying £22,500,000 on a player with virtually no experience but sometimes life is worth taking a risk. I will risk him too by not loaning him and he will start against Southampton on the first day of the season. He does not speak any English so I will ask Marco to help out.'
I am determined to show this board that we can make the top 6! We have been made 6th favourites to win the title this season because of the good signings and things. I can not wait for this team to get going now.
Well what a weird start to the season. My new signings have settled in well and are gelling with the other players well. There are a couple of players who expect to see players sold and that happened on Deadline day. I also invested in one more player to complete the jigsaw.
The matches in pre season were, well to be honest fucking awful. We got whitewashed in America losing 3-1 to Portland Timbers, 2-0 to Vancouver and 4-1 to Toronto. To make it worse we then lost to Colchester. Some people think we did not have enough friendlies but I disagree because I wanted my team to gel more than anything and I think I got that.
Raymond Dunn has left for Celtic for £3.4m. He had been with us for just one season after a £8m move from Blackburn but it did not work out. I decided just to get him out and get someone else in.
The next player to leave is Timmy Cotton for £2.7m. He signed from Cardiff for £3.1m but did not make one single appearance and to be frank his attitude was horrid! He said he was glad to be leaving my company but the rest of the team were glad to be leaving his company. He has moved to Stoke.
The guy I have signed though is on a free transfer after he left Ajax when his contract was up. Lewis King is a American English central defender who was born in Linwood, California and is a tough tackling 23 year old. He has awesome work rate and is a proper team player and will fit right in here at The City Ground. [/URL] Lewis King is now a Forest Player

We had a shocking start to the Premier League when Southampton taught us a footballing lesson. We went the whole match without having a shot on target and at Half time it was 3-0 to Soton. The second half we defended better but I went mad when we gave away a cheap penalty for handball and they ran out 4-0 Winners.
We got back in order for the next match when we met MK Dons, who had done awesomely last season and we disposed of them 2-1. It was a much, much more polished performance and we thoroughally deserved the victory. It was pleasing to see Pingoto have a solid performance and then I also gave a second half debut to Ghedin who was a 70th minute substitute. He was giving one of the loudest receptions I have ever heard. Vaclav then won the match for us with a bullet header.
Then it was Preston and Gabriele Ghedin gave me some major encouragement about the price-tag he has arrived at the club for when he got the Man Of The Match Award too. The new 4-1-3-2 formation is really working too. Ghedin and Cirjek played and linked up very well together.
I am encouraged by all 3 games. The first one because we needed to be spanked because after last season's ending my lads thought that they were unbeatable. The MK Dons match is good because we showed our bounce back ability and for the first time I have got past the second round of the Capital One Cup. We should have had like 8 or 9 that match but this youngster converted one and that just shows how talented Ghedin is.
