Departures and Signings

Keegans Notes

I today named another two new signings. The first player I have signed is a Ghanaian called Prince Owusu. I signed him for £16,000,000 from Dnipro in Ukraine, again I had done my research and watched him half a dozen times.

He is well-known to football fans across, Africa, Europe and South America, he made his international debut against Mali in October 2017 and has gone on to make 54 appearances and scoring 27 goals for his county.

Prince started his career at Tema Youth, a ghanaian part time club in February 2011. He did not play until 2014 when he broke into the first team and played 34 times scoring an amazing 26 goals which in March 2016 netted him a move to Danish club Rosenborg for just £95,000 and he made 66 league appearances scoring again an amazing 45 goals for his club.

In January 2019 he joined Brazilian second division side for free, making 53 appearances and scored 21 goals. Osuwu's Ghana team lifted the African Cup Of Nations in 2019. Osuwu's spell at Victoria did not last long and in July 2020 he joined Auxerre for £1,400,000, making 58 appearances and scoring 18 goals in just 2 years.

In July 2022 his form for Auxerre bagged him a £7,500,000 move to Dnipro where he made 52 appearances and scoring 28 goals. During his time at Dnipro, his team lifted the Ukrainian Super Cup in 2023 and won the Ukrainian Premier League in 2023.

My final signing of the transfer window is another Argentine who I had been watching for 4 months before the end of the season from FC Porto for £7,250,000 and is called Angel Correa.

Correa is truly one of world football's global superstars and most gifted player of his time. Having made his Argentinian debut against Iran in March 2019 and has gone on only to make 7 appearances for his country and is yet to score a goal.

He started his career at San Lorenzo de Almagro in 2009/10. He broke into the first team in 2012 and made a total of 39 league appearances scoring 9 goals. Correa moved to FC Porto in 2014 for £3,000,000 where he was sent on loan to FC Twente, where he made 17 appearances and scored 1 goal. He played 170 times for them scoring 20 goals.

I am definately happy with the players I have bought
Nice signings :)

Captain and Vice Captain

Keegans Notes

I decided a new approach was needed for a better beginning so unfortunately I released Charlie Austin. It was a shame but he was on nearly £90,000 a week so I had to let him go.

I decided to name Damir Gajski as Captain. He has been a solid player who deserves this chance.

Damir has been at Forest for 2 years making 70 appearances, scoring 21 goals and is said to be very happy at being appointed captain and has the backing of his team mates. 'Damir really deserves to take up the role of captain, he is really good to have around and I can not wait to work under him.'

The Vice Captain I have decided on is his international team mate and Left Midfielder Ante Rebic. Rebic, 30 has represented Croatia 83 times and has been here for 2 years and he has scored 12 goals and has made 68 appearances for us scoring 14 goals.

'We are over the moon to have Ante as Vice captain and he plays amazing football for us and the fans absolutely love him and I am glad to finally have it all sorted.
Nice selections.
Bayern Thank you kindly :)
Wise choice to let Austin go
Owusu looks pretty beast!
Paddy Thanks it was a tough one because I helped his career :P

TK Yeah lets see how he does

Keegans Notes

I have decided it would be best for the club and Alex to release him. This will come as a shock to everyone because last season he was pretty much the Number 1 keeper, but his wages were at 110k a week and with now signing Augustin Allione for £11,500,000 and paying him £150,000 a week I just had to remove Alex but I did buy a replacement for him from FC Groningen.

The 29 year old goalkeeper is known to fans across Europe and made his Greece debut in October 2018. He has gone on to make 28 appearances for his country and started his career at Lazio. He broke into the first team in 2013 but made just 9 league appearances before going on loan to Trapani where he made 29 appearances at the Italian Serie c1 team. In July 2017 he joined Asteras Tropolis for £170,000 and made 184 league appearances.

When his contract expired he moved to Dutch club FC Gronignen and made 24 appearances before we swooped for him.

I am very pleased to be in the Premier League and I will challenge Delac for the number 1 spot said Thomas.

I am glad to have him in the team too.

My final signings is a centre back and is now the club record £24,000,000 signing. Tin Jedvaj is a well-known name to football fans across Europe and is the fifth Croatian to join Nottingham Forest. He made his debut against Georgie in August 2013 and has gone on to make 69 appearances for his country.

Tin started his career at GNK Dinamo in 2010/2011 and broke into the first team in 2012, he went onto make a total of 13 league appearances and he scored 1 goal for his club. During his time at Modri, his team lifted the Croatian Super Cup in 2013 and won the Croatian First Division in 2013 too. He then joined AS Roma in the 13/14 season for £4,200,000 and went on to make 83 league appearances.

After 3 years at Roma he joined German outfit VfB Stuttgart for £8,250,000 and made 88 appearances before moving to Forest. With Coratia and Stuttgart he has won the German Cup in 2022 and won the European Championship in 2020 which is where I saw the finest performance from a Centre Back I had ever seen.

Some ex professionals are saying I refuse to sign English players but the reason is simple! You get better quality for less. Look at Spurs they spent £42,000,000 on Marc Whitfield from Newcastle. A middle of the road english attacker who can not even really brake into the England team. I am happy with Adam smith and Mason Bennett as my Englishmen.

The month was horrible and I hold my hands up I got the tactics wrong in the first two matches. We had 3 Premier League Matches. the first match was against Arsenal and it was the roman Rastoll game as he scored FOUR first half goals to destroy us. We won the second half 1-0 but Vaclav Zajicek scored a header but we were awful overall.

If you thought we were awful there, Chelsea were just as good as Arsenal and also destroyed us 3-0 this time but they could have won 30-0! I was looking at the transfer market by this point and we had a Capital One Cup match in between the Liverpool one.

The Liverpool match I made changes! I went to five at the back, 2 central midfielder, 2 attacking wingers and one centre forward. We actually started well this time and the defence with 3 centre backs in Vaclav, Lewis and Matteo Enrietti held firm. Zejicek broke the deadlock on the 8th minute after good work by Allione then crossed the ball for Vaclav who had stayed up from a corner to head home. We held a 1-0 lead at half time and I told them we had to put them to the sword. Allione then scored a wonderful free kick, but then became provider for sub Hernan Rodriguez, making his debut rifled a volley home for 3-0. Liverpool got one back Johanson only for Vaclav to score a headed goal from another Allione corner.

Capital One Cup

This was the game that Augustin Allione came to the party for Forest. In what was a utterly boring lifeless match there was still enough for 3 goals but Allione got the 2 that mattered and Coventry parked the bus but Allione, once world player of the year runner up showed his quality to set up a third round clash with Leeds United.

League Table

League Table means nothing at the start of the season but Watford and newly promoted Barnsley have started well.

Other News

Danny Welbeck has been loaned out to Swansea which gets half of his wages off the books.
