Late Wins Put Forest Right Back In Contention

So lets forget the F.A Cup match against Brighton because I fielded a weakened side to see how they did and still we only lost 4-3.

Ghedin got us going on the 16th minute, now he has been absolutely awesome all season and in all competitions had 21 goals. When Morgan Thomas scored our second we looked to be well on our way to a F.A Cup victory but that was not the case and Brighton hit goals in 29 minutes to be leading at the interval. I was not to harsh on the guys because we were weakened and when Coulson scored an own goal in the 64th minute we were all over Brighton but it just was not to be.

We then entertained Blackburn at The City Ground. On the 71st minute after playing awful, awful football I told them to overload and for once it worked a treat. Blackburn were rightly ahead when on the 81st minute, wonderkid sub Colin Kyle who was an expensive acquisition latched onto a long ball and slotted home. We did not deserve it but we were level. Blackburn were stunned and on the 88th minute Ghedin netted again to make it 2-1 to us. To add insult to injury Ante Rebic scored a third so we had snatched a win when we least deserved it and I did not care and congratulated the boys on an amazing win.

Then came the Spurs match. Tottenham are struggling at the bottom but it did not seem it here. Ghedin scored again and a Lombardi own goal made it 2-0 at half time but whatever Luis Enrique said to them worked because we did not know what had hit us. Well we do and that is 5 second half goals to destroy us 5-2 and it was now important how we picked up against Villa on EurosportHD3.

We picked up well and thanks to a Ghedin doube were able to beat Villa 2-1. I was mor ehappy with this performance because we tried very, very hard and I new we could finish the month good now.

Nightingale and Ghedin punished a poor Fulham side too. Ghedin got two more goals and is fast turning into a goal machine. I am now glad I gave him the chance he wated because he has not looked back. Jamie Nightingale is an amazing player now. The former Manchester United trainee is really coming of age and I am not sure Augustin Allione will get back into the team straight away.

Colin Kyle and Gabriele ghed then also defeated Leeds and Ghedin showed he can play with anyone up front. I was espeicially pleased with Nirvana and John Keegans performance.

Spurs had a month to remember by moving way out of the relegation zone. We are back upto third and we have the top two of Manchester United and Arsenal behind them. We are only 4 points behind and have a good chance.

The Month Ahead

We have a good month ahead with some very winnable matches. Augustin Allione should be available for selection for the Man City match and it would be fitting he would return for that game but can Nightingale be dislodged? I am not so sure. We also have our first Champions League knockout match too against OM.

Forest Player Of The Month

He scored 8 goals in 6 matches and has been awesome this month. Some of the goals have been lucky but a couple have been top quality so I am pleased to say that Gabriele claims the Forest Player Of The Month and I would not be surprised if he claims the McDonald's Premier League Player Of The Month too.
Brighton and Spurs were two troubles for you. But, there are still good chances to see you winning the league with Nott. El grande Gabriele!
Adrian Ghedin has took over from where Cirjak left off and he will not be sold even for 100m!
It's incredible the amount of goals that occur in your games!
Paddy I know right I am trying to make my defence better

Youngsters Make Forest Debut's

Today was a good day for me as my new signing from Brazil made his debut in goal for us against Leeds United. First though I would like to talk about Nirvana, a 17 year old Brazilian player who made his debut for us today and then immediately after the match was celebrating after being handed his first professional contract.

Nirvana, pictured above signed a 2 year deal and the player dubbed the next Neymar signed for us through our successful youth system in 2024.

I am delighted to be working under a manager I have a lot of time for. I love Nottingham Forest and I will never forget the fact they signed me first.

I would also like to announce the signing of 19 year old Brazilian goalkeeper Valdinho.

Valdinho, pictured above will probable be more well known for fans in Brazil then England. He started his career at Cruzeiro in August 2021 and only made one appearance in 2024 before Forest took him to England.

He made his debut in the same match as Nirvana and was well received by supporters and there was a keen sense of intrigue around the club as they got to see there £7,000,000 man in action.

I want to thank my boss for the chance to play in this match and I hope there is more to come

Sorry Barnsley Put To The Sword As Forest Go Second

Nottingham Forest fans celebrated an emphatic 6-0 win at Oakwell this Evening. A brace from Gabriele Ghedin helped Forest to victory. Things did not get off to a good start for Barnsley as wonder-kid Colin Kyle seized on an error by Kyle Taylor to score a placed shot. Another error by Taylor allowed the other wonder-kid striker Ghedin to score a well timed close range finish. It was another error from Massadio Haidara this time to allow Ghedin to notch his second of the game with another well timed close range finish. On the 38th minute it was 4-0 when Morgan Thomas scored a good headed goal from just inside the six yard box.

I told the lads to go and put 6 or 7 goals past after the break. said Keegan and they did just that as substitute Adam Williams, who has struggled since coming in as Antonio Cirjak's replacement also got a brace of goals for a 6-0 victory.

Man Of The Match Morgan Thomas was by far and away the best player on the park this evening. Thomas looked assured in defence but the Forest centre back also got forward well and his attacking runs were rewarded with a well-deserved goal.

Thomas added to the scoreline with a good header from just inside the six yard box. He also made several crucial defensive headers which epitomised this impressive display.

The fans also expressed there delight at the performance and were pleased with the number of time the team managed to test the opposition goalkeeper.

Tin Jedvaj, Luke Shaw and Gabriele Ghedin particularly impressed. Forest have been performing above expectations in the McDonald's Premier League so far this season and find themselves in second place. They have won 3 of the last 5 away matches.

Shaw Out For Six To Eight Weeks

Just as we hit the top of the table, one of my biggest players has got injured in the latest match. Luke Shaw, who is one of Nottingham Forest's best players at the moment has strained his knee ligaments, when falling awkwardly in the win against Swansea and will be out for six to eight weeks.

Shaw being carried off injured

As things stand, Felipe, Adam Smith and John Keegan would be the contenders to replace the injured left back but other options COULD be untested youngsters Laurence Gough, Steve Banks and Dean Moore but would unlikely be considered at this point.

I am devastated to be out but I will come back stronger to help Forest push for this chance to win the title even though we were told by the press at the start of the season that we had no chance whatsoever. Said Luke Shaw.

The Joint Press Conference

Pep is Confident Of Victory Against The Reds

So McDonald's came up with a trial to have a joint press conference. Where the two managers get asked the same question and then effectively they argue it out with each other and wouldn't you know it, our game against Man City was the trial run. Now I do not have a lot of time for Man City but I thought I like Jesep Guardiola.

Key
R = Reported
KK = Kevin Keegan
JG = Josep Guardiola.

R: So welcome both for this unique press conference. I would like to know who is going to win and what factors will mean that your team will win?

JG = We are better! Forest are in a place they should not be I mean come on, anyone can beat Barnsley 6-0 but Forest can not beat us and I know they won't.

KK = Utter rubbish. We are 3rd on merit and we know how to bring youngsters through. We don't have to spend money just because we have to.

JG = That is why we have won Premier League's unlike your 'team'

R: WHOA thats enough I want to know your views on Augustin Allione.

JG = He was a waste of space in my opinion. He did not try and liked to party. Our gain is obviously Forest's loss.

KK = Yes he is a bit of an extravert but do you know what I would not have him any other way. He is a good lad and tries his best in every match.

JG = I ain't even worried about him to be honest. He would not play for Forest if Nightingale was fit and I am happier to have Augustin up against us rather than Jamie.

KK = Augustin has just come back from a broken leg and he will be dangerous!

R: What score do you think it will be?

JG = Man City 3-0. Forest are just no good!

KK = it will be tight but we will win 3-1.

R: Thanks I think it will be a draw so I would like to thank you both for coming.

Now I thought his attitude was disgusting but oh well. If I play my team a copy of that then we will prevail. The match is at 3pm on Sunday at The City Of Manchester Stadium.

City Of Manchester Stadium

I am ultra sure that we will pick up the valuable 3 points, whoever does not I think will be out of the title race.
Both coaches are sure about their team's victory so it will be a hard match for both of them. Can't wait to see what will happen, lad. Good luck!
