Forest Finally Bid For Cotton

I finally decided to make a bid for former player Robbie Cotton. I called Joleon Lescott's representitives at Stoke and I bid 7,000,000 plus 1,400,000 in add ons.

Keegan talks about bidding for Robbie Cotton

I beleive they will accept this as it is a fair price for the central Midfielder but hey! we will wait and see.

The fued between me and Joleon does not look like it is going to die down as both times this season he refused to shake my hand. I think this is because he knows I am the better manager and I was also the better Football player when I played too.

The Sun approached Lescott on this matter but he promptly told them to take a long walk off a short pier but this is what I expect of that Jackass now and next season Robbie Cotton will score against them to give us the win you mark my words.

Fan's Player Of The Year

There were 3 nominations for the Fan's Player Of The Year.

Gabriele Ghedin

Ghedin has been immense this season, playing 29 times this season and scoring 24 goals, making 6 assists and claiming 4 Player Of The Month awards. He has had an awesome season and fully deserves the nomination.

Damir Gajski

Damir has also been solid this season making 32 appearances, scoring 9 goals and making 10 assists this season. He also captained the team regularly this season and the fans LOVE him. I thought he would get a nomination and I am glad he has.

Morgan Thomas

Morgan has also had a stellar season this season. Signed from Russian club Zenit for £31,500,000 he showed his worth this season by scoring 6 goals and claiming FIVE Player Of The Month Awards with a season average of 7.43

And The Winner Is?

The fans have chose Morgan Thomas as there Player Of The Year.

Forest Team Of The Year

Amazingly Delac made the team and Jedvaj partnered Thomas in defence. Wayne Smith and Luke Shaw are the left backs. Rebic and Nightingale are the wingers, meaning Jamie has beaten Augustin Allione to the spot and I think he deserves it. Zulu beat Barkley to the Central Midfield role too. Gajski is the attacking midfielder and Gabriele and Adam Williams complete the line up. I am chuffed to bits for Williams because some people questioned him half way through the season but he has made people think otherwise.

Overall Best Eleven

BT Sport News now takes a look at the Nottingham Forest overall best eleven, featuring the likes of Antonio Cirjak and Shane Duffy.

Although two members of the team are now retired, the rest continue to be involved in football. Vaclav Zajicek, Ante Rebic, Neil Bowers, Zulu and Adam Smith are still with the club.

Antonio Cirjak is currently playing for F.C. Barcelona, and had an outstanding season for them in which helping to win the La Liga. Pavel Holub turns out for Liverpool, Liam Moore is at Reading who have just won promotion to the McDonald's Premiership, Josh Vela is at Blackburn Rovers, Kevin McShane turns out for Leeds United and Alex McCarthy turns out for Los Angeles Galaxy.

Tommy Cotton finally made his move back to Nottingham Forest today too. We had a bid of £9,000,000 turned down and Lescott told me to fuck off again so after the 6th bid of £11,000,000 was refused I made a phone call to him.

KK -Kevin Keegan
JL - Joleon Lescott

KK: May I speak to Joleon please in regards to Tommy Cotton
JL: This is Joleon speaking now what the fuck do you want?
KK: Tommy Cotton. I want to buy him and you know he will sign for us too.
JL: Why should I sell to such a low life like you? You are ridiculous and you are obviously fascinated over me!
KK: Fascinated over you? Oh come on pull the other one! You are just jealous because I can get a team passing forward and not frigging backwards!
JL: I beg your pardon?
KK: Oh you heard. I think you should just accept the fucking offer and then fuck off!
JL: I want thirty four million for him
KK: No chance I bid forteen million and thats it!
JL: Ok you have him, hes fucking shit anyway now do not fucking contact me again
KK: Ok have fun getting relegated and I laugh and hang up!

Deji May Leaves

Deji May is a name that will be familiar to many football fans across England. The new Middlesbrough signing has already made it known it recent days that he is pleased to be part of the setup at The Riverside Stadium.

May started his career at Wigan Athletic in August 2011, breaking into the first in 2016 and made a total of 60 league appearances. In January 2018 he joined West Bromwich Albion for £750,000 and made 7 appearances. During this time he also spent time on loan at Hibs, Wigan and Leicester City, making a combined total of 21 appearances.

May then joined Forest for free in August 2022 but managed just one solitary appearance for the club. He also spent time on loan at Barnsley, Doncaster and Wolves, making a total of 44 league appearances combined and scoring 5 goals. It was still not enough to convince me though and he moves to Middlesbough for free.

Forest Secure Kinteh contract

Nottingham Forest's Hatib Kinteh is celebrating today after putting pen to paper on a lucrative 3 year deal worth £3,000,000.

Kinteh Signs A New Deal

Kinteh, 18 arrived at The City Ground from Cagliari for a fee of £7,250,000 in 2024 and is very happy to be staying another 3 years.

I am very, very pleased to be here for three more years. I love the club and Kevin Keegan is the man that will make me a world beater. I can not wait to have a crack at the title this season.

New Youth Upgrade Given Green Light

Today I went to my chairman about 3 things. The first was to improve the Youth Facilities. Now we have some fantastic youths but I want more so I went ot ask for it to be upgraded and it was accepted when later on I received this email and I would like to share it with you.

Hi Kevin

In response to your inquiry about improving the club's youth facilities, I am pleased to announce that we have now put these into place and work will begin at the end of this coming season.

We accept what you are doing is a long term project so would also like to offer you a new contract. This will come at some point within the next week once we have discussed the philosophies you will be working too. The upgrade for the Youth facilities will cost £2,700,000 and it will be completed by 7/10/2027.

Forest are to Upgrade there Youth Facilities

We are also accepting your request for another feeder club. This is because the club tours have gone so well we have seen a massive increase in our profile in places like Croatia, U.S.A and Australia. I hope to come back with some clubs for you to choose from soon.

Keep up the good work

Nicky Stapleton

I was personally chuffed to bits with that email and I am glad my hard work is being recognised.

England Into World Cup Final Again

England are through to the World Cup final for a second World Cup in a row after a 2-1 victory over outsiders Russia at Estadio Azteca.

England will be in the World Cup Final once again

Goal-friendly Russia suffered a 2-1 extra time defeat against England on a very wet evening.

An error from England's veteran centre back Phil Jones allowed striker Vitaly Olkhovik to score a placed shot. England's equaliser came through Terry Riley as he seized on Dimitry Sidelnikov's mistake to score a deftly executed finish from long range. Striker Ashley Cox then clinched a late winner on the 95th minute with a well timed finish.

They will go into the final at Estadio Azteca to play arch rivals Argentina. Argentina defeated outsiders Serbia in the semi finals by a goal to nil to set up a clash where in the last three matches England have won twice but Argentine won there last match 1-0.

Two Times In A Row For England!

As a man who has lifted the World Cup with England I thought that Roberto Mancini had made some catastrophic errors in the build up to the World Cup but I was today proved wrong.

On a fine autumn afternoon at Estadio Azteca, England's Will Hughes lived the dream on many a supporter and a players as he lifted the World Cup as Captain for the second time in his career! England had come from behind to beat arch rivals Argentina 2-1 in one of the tightest and skillful finals ever to grace many of us.

Hughes lifts the World Cup for the Second as England Captain in his Career

Benfica captain Gonzalo Nievas got the Argentine off to a flyer by scoring a deftly executed finish from close range just 7 minutes into the final. But England who opted to start with Berahino instead of Man City man Ashley Cox proved right when Saido seized upon Daniel Valentini;s mistake to score a close range effort just before half time.

Argentina's Montenegro was forced off by injury in the 90th minute and this match looked like it was going to extra time. That is until experienced Shakhtar midfielder Raheem Sterling clinched a late winner on the 93rd minute with a placed shot.

England overcame Portugal, Brazil and Russia to get to the final and this was the third time they had reached it and still hold a 100% record.

But even as perennial contenders for the World Cup, surely no-one other than the English would have thought they could defend the World Cup. But playing under the guidance of fans' favourite Roberto Mancini however, the England player have now lifted the trophy two time in a row.

Keegan Signs One Year Extension

I am very pleased to announce that I have signed a 1 year contract extension today worth £35,000 a week meaning I am here for two years now.

Forest Chairman Nicky Stapleton has declared himself delighted that I have agreed to renew my contract at the club. Stapleton feels that I have shown fantastic commitment to the club by signing the new deal which he is sure will please the fans and players alike.

I am pleased Kevin will be here for 2 more years, as now I will be here for that long too. Said Captain Damir Gajski. Gabriele Ghedin, who is a transfer target for several top clubs also had a say on it. Amazing Kev is staying so now Forest fans can rest assured I will stay for a shot at the title too.

It is nice to know that so many players like me but I am glad to be staying at Forest too.

McDonald's Premier League Odds

Manchester City are favourites to win the title with Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United also in the mix along with Nottingham Forest. Other than that they are saying it will be whoever finishes 6th. Liverpool and Norwich who are back in the Premier League are 200/1 and 150/1 respectively.

Night Moves To Arsenal On Loan

I today made an unusual step to loan one of my upcoming Central Defenders to Arsenal in Temitope Knight. The 20 year old defender moves to The Emirates to get experiance in a team fighting for the title and also means that he can not play us neither.

Antonio Conte was very complimentary to Knight. He is a big tall guy and we have been lacking that for the last couple of season's. He will provide competition and also get an insight into being in the squad for important Champion's League matches.

Knight was also happy with the move saying I really am happy to be going on loan to such a big club. My aspirations are for Forest but I want to be able to to win a title this season even if that means unfortunately that Forest do not win it however if we can not then I hope Forest do.

Luke Shaw Signs A Contract

I am pleased to announce that Luke Shaw has signalled his intent to see out the rest of his career at Nottingham Forest by signing a new 5 year deal worth £100,000 a week.

This is great news for Luke and tops a wonderful couple of weeks as he was part of the team who won the World Cup in Mexico.

I am delighted to be part of the big vision at Forest and we really will be having a big go at the title this season. I mean just look at who we have signed this season! Brenton is England's first choice keeper and we have bought Tommy Cotton back too and also Piter and Domain look to be awesome acquisitions.

I am very, very happy that he has signed and he will really give us something next season.
