Keegans Notes

It is safe to say that I have had a turbulent time since joining Forest after leaving England. Ante Rebic joined from Fiorentina for 12.25m, Raymond Dunn joined us for 8m from Blackburn. The Scot who played for Celtic before Blackburn has now represented Scotland once and is looking forward to playing under Kevin Keegan.

The last guy to announce is Marco Banassi joins us from A.C Milan for 9m. He was a flop when moving to A.C for 27m from P.S.G. I am most looking forward to him pulling on the Red shirt of Forest.

Banassi Joins for 9m and big things are expected

We really have not started the season very well....... I want my team to slowly get use to my tactics and they are slowly doing that. We have not even managed 1 win yet but we are not bottom and that is a good thing. We have a long road ahead of us. We also got slaughtered 4-0 by Charlton in the Capital One Cup.

Disapointing Month For Forest

Forest 1-4 Blackburn
Duquesnoy (4)

We actually played really, really well but we had lapses of concentration in which we were punished. Was a bit of tough reality in my first match back at club level for 14 years.

Spurs 2-1 Forest
Austin (34)
May (85)
May (90+2)

Spurs were lucky to win because we spooned two penalties wide and over. I was still impressed with my team though. There is enough encouragement.

Forest 0-3 Fulham

We were shocking!!!!!!! Enough said

Man Utd 1-0 Forest

United might be penniless off the pitch but there players are giving it all for them on the pitch in another game where Charlie wasted 4 or 5 more chances. I know he is going to hit the back of the net soon

Newcastle 1-1 Forest
Austin (18)

Charlie hit a corker home in this match but Newcastle and Marc Whitfield are absolutely fantastic this season but it was a point gained and not a point lost.

Forest 0-0 MK Dons
MK Dons are having a good start to there Premier League season but we should still have won this match. The signs are there that we are picking up though and thats a good thing.

Keegans Verdict

We are now gelling as a team and it is visible in the last 3 matches. If we keep going like that we will definitely avoid Relegation this season. I need Charlie and Ante to perform if they do we will be nearer 13th that 16th.

League Table

We are 18th and only going to climb!
Rebic and Benassi should be good signings. Not an ideal start, however
Tough results man. Hopefully you don't need to start spending resumes and you keep the job.
some weird and interesting teams in the premier league, whats happened to everton? Some good signings though, im sure the results will pick up soon.
You'll improve Jason, don't worry!
P-Kiddy - Yeah Rebic looks good at the moment and I am sure I will start to pick up eventually

Bayern - I am sure I can hold on to my job, watch this space

Hortensius - Everton are struggling in the championship and Mk Dons and Forest are your typical up one season and down the next then up then down

TK - Thanks for the encouragement man :)
Not a good start..but I really think that Rebic will help you get over this!

Keegans Notes

That is absolutely ridiculous! I said to the snotty nosed stuck up journalist from Sky Sports News after asking if I was worried that Mark Hughes was visiting The City Ground after declaring his interest in the Nottingham Forest job. Now secretly I am thinking 'what the hell does that twat have that I have not got!'

Hughes wants to take the Forest Job

I have took England to two major championship finals, so to think that i MIGHT be sacked is borderline silly. I am trying to build something here and yes it means that I need to keep Forest up but at the end of October the bottom 7 or 8 are covered by a matter of 2 or 3 points. I mean I always new it would be a tough job, however I have good owners who are willing to spend the money.

If I get sacked I will be very disappointed as this month we had a good month although still bottom, it is tight in the bottom half. Ahmed Moncer finally scored a goal and we defeated Aston Villa. We then followed it up with a fantastic 4-3 win over Watford.

I mean ok we lost to Liverpool but that was expected and it was only 1-0 we lost. The Bolton Match however was disgusting. We had 31 shots on goal they had 4 but won 1-0. grrrrrrrr I was so, so mad but I could not be mad with my team as I was just mad with the fact that the Bolton Keeper had an amazing match.

Matches

Forest 0-1 Liverpool

I can not fault my guys again. It will only be in January where I can get some new players in to help the ones I already have. Until then aslong as they perform like this I will be happy.

Forest 1-0 Villa
Moncer (59)

Awesome Performance! We did not look like letting a goal in and McCarthy was awesome too.

Watford 3-4 Forest
Hegazy (1)
Rebic (39), Moncer (55), Austin (70)

We showed we could fight here with Charlie performing very, very well! I was so happy to come away with the victory.

Bolton 1-0 Forest

I was appalled here, but only that we couldn't score because we had 31 shots on goal and deserved something out of the match.

Just look how close it is! I can not and should not be sacked yet as the form is improving! I can not wait to move out of the relegation zone.
Tough run of games and results but you can only go up! You've got a good group of players so hopefully it will come together soon!
Due to the high number of goals you've conceded, I'd say get a different goalkeeper perhaps? Overall an okay start to the league but you can do better :) Awesome story so far lad
NVD - McCarthy has been awesome it is my defenders i am changing in january if i last that long. A couple of old england lads are going to be with me :)

K1rups - Good to see you back, I do have a good group of players and i can not wait to see them gel

Bale Signs for Forest

Bale, 33 spend 9 seasons at Real Madrid making over 180 appearances scoring 95 goals. Gareth went on record to say ' I am very happy at joining Nottingham Forest for free. I just wanted to get playing again and hopefully I can help the club stay in the Premier League. 'I have known Kevin for a while and can not wait to work with him.'

I also can not wait for Gareth to work with me and I thoroughally look forward to it. Gereth does not play for Wales anymore so his experiance will be vital here.

He will start the next match against Manchester City, one of my old clubs.
Awesome signing. Maybe he will save your job.
Bale finally got his move to Forest... Even if it was 12 years late :))
