Juventus’ Player of the Month

Gianluigi Buffon

Our skipper has started the season in style by winning us the Supercoppa Italia. Not only did he put in a great performance against Lazio with a penalty save against Hernanes, Buffon then went on to save FOUR PENALTIES in our shootout. The man saved every single penalty, one of his finest hours.

Conte’s Verdict

It’s been a bit of a slow start to the season but I put that on the players getting accustomed to the tactics I’m deploying. It was a nice start to win the Supercoppa Italia and we got a tough point away to Fiorentina. I’m glad to have ended the month with a win against Bologna.
Congrats on winning the supercup!

Four penalties :O That beats the three Pedro Alves saved for me versus Olhanense for Oriental!

A solid start to the season, good to get a couple of early points on the board, and a bit of silverware.

Nice update and Buffon is a beast :)

GIANTS MEET AGAIN

Juventus and Bayern Munich have been paired up in the same UEFA Champions’ League group in a repeat of last season’s quarter finals tie.

The duo last met in April 2013 as Bayern Munich won 2-0 both home and away under retired boss Jupp Heynckes on their route to Champions’ League glory.

Now under the new management of Pep Guardiola, Bayern Munich will be hoping to emulate last season’s success in the Champions’ League as Juventus look to surpass the quarter final stage.

Also in the group is Greek Super League champions Olympiakos, who are now under the management of former Sevilla boss and Real Madrid player, Michel.

Completing the group of Champions is Anderlecht who enter the group showcasing the youthful talent of Dennis Praet, Frank Acheampong and Aleksander Mitrovic.
very tough game mate! wish you luck!

Well done in winning the supercup and getting off to a pretty good start in the league :)
Will be very tough against Bayern but you should still qualify from the group!

Juventus’ Player of the Month

Luciano Vietto

Vietto has been incredible and it’s hard to believe he is just a 19 year old. The Argentine managed to score seven goals in just 4 games this month and looks like he has played for the ‘Bianconeri’ for many years such is his confidence, keeping Carlos Tevez rooted to the bench.

Conte’s Verdict

We started a bit slowly this month but won every single game and so for that I am delighted. A few of our key players are lacking slightly in fitness but we managed to get the all-important three points in each of our encounters, peaking phenomenally at the end of the month.
Talk about taking the league by storm! :O
