VITINHO TO JOIN JUVE

Juventus are delighted to announce that Vitinho has signed a pre-contract with the club and will join at the end of the season from CSKA Moscow.

Vitinho, who signed for CSKA Moscow in the summer for £8 million, will join the ‘Bianconeri’ for free after Juventus paid £2.5 million for the full ownership of the 20 year old.

The Brazilian has signed a four year deal to expire in 2018 and will earn approximately £42,000 a week without bonuses included.

Juventus manager Antonio Conte has said he’s delighted with the new acquisition and sees this transfer as an opportunity for Juventus to change for the better.

“I’m delighted to have managed to get Vitinho to sign for us. I know that there were a plethora of clubs interested in him but I’m very pleased he chose us.

“Vitinho is a very talented player with a massive potential. He has a great amount of pace and dribbling ability as you’d typically expect from a Brazilian winger.

“Furthermore, he’s a good finisher too so he can really add something different to our squad next season.

“We are always on about how we can improve and change for the better and in my opinion, the way to do so is giving opportunities to the likes of Vitinho who will add a new dimension to our play.”

Vitinho began his career at Botafogo where he played 16 times over the course of three seasons before moving to CSKA Moscow in the summer, scoring ten and assisting seven goals in 28 appearances so far.
I love this guy so much from my other save, he was amazing for me! :D

TEVEZ PROMISES IMPROVEMENT

Juventus striker Carlos Tevez has vowed to show he has the capability to play in the Serie A after a poor start to the season for his club.

The Argentine has had a rocky start to life at Juve but is keen to impress from now until the end of the season and prove many doubters wrong.

Tevez has only scored one goal since his £10 million arrival from Manchester City, that goal being the winner in Juventus’ 1-0 victory over Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena in the UEFA Champions’ League.

The 29 year old has now declared that he has all the confidence to excel in the colours of Juve, speaking to a local radio station in his native Argentina.

“It’s been a difficult period for me so far but I’m sure things will soon go my way at Juventus. The fans can see I’m giving my best so it should be only a matter of time before I start scoring consistently.

“I'm not used to this kind of situation which is why I have been misfiring for a while but I’m confident I’ll overcome this spell soon.”

Futhermore, the 29 year old has lost his spot in the side to Fernando Llorente and compatriot Luciano Vietto.

Vietto has scored a sensational 16 goals in 18 games since his £6 million move from Racing Club whereas Tevez has only managed 1 goal in 13 starts.

However, Tevez insists 20 year old Vietto’s arrival has not cast doubts over his future at the club and that if anything; it has given him the opportunity to ease himself in.

“I think it’s great that Vietto has burst onto the scene but I don’t feel it has in any way affected my integration into Conte’s team.

“I'm delighted Vietto has started well and the fact that we are doing so well and he is getting the goals lifts the pressure off me. If he weren’t scoring, I’d have to answer plenty more questions.”

Tevez has subsequently been linked with a move back to his former club Boca Juniors in January, with another former club in Corinthians also thought to be interested, but he has denied wanting a move.

“Boca and Corinthians are two clubs very close to my heart and I’d love to represent them again sometime in the future but I’m happy where I am.

“Everyone that knows me well will know that I’m not a quitter so I will remain here at Juve as long as I’m wanted because I feel I have a point to prove still.”
I hope he can improve. That was a good write up and I am enjoying this story.

Great update Paddy, he's a great player and he should pick up soon, although Vietto seems to be a great player too.

Serie A Table

Juventus’ Player of the Month

Luciano Vietto

The boy continues to shine and scored absolutely crucial games this month in positions of games we found difficult to do so.

Conte’s Verdict

January was very difficult! We had plenty of games because of the Italian Cup so we had to use our full squad. As a consequence, you could see the fatigue and lack of chemistry in between the fringe players, yet we remain unbeaten and got the wins we needed. I can’t complain!
Atalanta have had a good season........ I love that team. Good month and nice looking league table for you there good luck next month
