Youth Intake: 2014

It's that time of year! Youth Intake Day! I had a moral argument with myself about whether poaching youngsters from other clubs would get in the way of my no-transfers policy, and i've (currently) decided that yes, it would, and therefore my only regens will come from my own academy!

So, I present to you, the cream of this year's crop (sans screenshots, because Steam hates me)
The format here is: Name - Age - Position - CA - Potential

Aaran Wood - 16 - ST - -
Holy Smokes! I think i've just found my replacement for Suarez! Young Aaran wood is already considered good enough for a League 2 team, and is the first 5* Regen i've seen! I immediately tied him down on a contract till 2017, with an extension option of 3 years, and a wage of £210 per week; delighted doesnt cover it.

Shaun Langham - 15 - DC - -
Another incredible prospect, Shaun is looking like the perfect foil for Martin Kelly in the centre of my future defence; he's quick already, and has good technical stats, including a 12 for his tackling

These two are definitely the pick of the bunch; the highest potential is 2* from anybody else...a slightly disappointing intake, but i'll take what I can get!
Nice potential at both mate, congrats'!

Thanks mate, i'm pretty chuffed! Wood has already had his 1st team debut, playing the last 10 mins; i'm reckoning the best way to develop him is give him gametime here, and tutoring; probably by Suarez :)
Very good youth prospects lad! Nice!

Also, i've just downloaded Lightshot, so will be experimenting with the layout of my updates :)

March 2014

A great month for us, slowly advancing up the table, and almost breaking into the top six!

A very good month! Keep it up!

thanks mate! currently playing my last game of April, so that update coming soon :)

April 2014: The End Approaches

Another good month, although losing to Fulham was disappointing...either way, i'm incredibly happy with our recent form, especially given our mid-season blip

Player of the Month: Martin Skrtel
Young Player of the Month: Pedro Chirivella

Wow. This season has been a real rollercoaster...below is the league table with 3 games left, and my final 3 games of the season...I'm torn between playing it safe, and going all out to try to nail 3 wins, or at least take points off the teams above us...

Quick Question: As Everton have qualified through Cup wins; does the other European place go to 7th, or the cup runners up (Arsenal, Currently 3rd)

Final 3 Games:
I think you should play your best team in the last 3 matches!

I plan on, as far as possible; Lucas Suspended, Suarez, Sturridge and Gerrard all injured...
Oh, God, you're so unlucky with those injures and hard matches, but I'm confident you'll be doing it right!

May 2014: Damp Squib

Man, what a season.

Our season really petered out in these last 3 games, although given the opposition, i'm not surprised...The graphic above really tells the story of these games, and there's not much more to say...

Final League Position
The results weren't that bad considering your injuries :P

Yeah, i'm pleased overall, given the young players I've used all season...hopefully next season will be even better
