Pre-Season Review: 2014/15

At the end of last season, I went to see the board, and demanded improvements to our youth recruitment and junior coaching, and also secured Middlesbrough as a feeder club to send players to on loan!

I decided to push my luck, and requested 2 further improvements:

So, our infrastructure currently stands like this:

Ideally, i'd like to get rid of Bray Wanderers and Nacional, as they are first-option links, and loan links are of the most benefit to me, i'd argue?

Overall, i'm happy with how we're progressing, and hope we can continue to build on the infrastructure, with clubs in top European Leagues becoming linked with us, ideally
Hopefully those new facilities will improve your intakes... I agree with getting rid of Accrington and Wanderers! I got rid of all of them and got my favorite Championship side Leicester!:P

Opening Day: 2014
Our first game of the season saw us welcome Swansea to Anfield.

Liverpool Starting XI

I did my best to fill the side with HG players; the only two not counted as such, are Coutinho and Reina, which is much better than last season.

Full Fixture List

A couple of big games in there, will be interesting to see how everyone sets their stall out!

Transfer Drama!

Do i, Don't i? Henderson and Allen are keeping him and Gerrard out the side, and i've also go Rossiter as a backup...

Could we see two big names leave the club?! I'd be looking for a fair amount for Suarez, despite his lack of goals last season; and he'd have to go abroad, truth be told...
Really nice updates here. Always a good idea to get your training and youth facilities improved. I think it would be good to sell Lucas - you can get a lot of money for him and he's replaceable. Grats on your first win, btw. B)

Thanks mate! i'm hoping to sell him, but approaching the end of the window and nobody's made a bid, and transfer listing him might upset the younger guys :/

August 2014: Same Old Story?

A tough month to open with, and I wasn't confident at all...

Results Recap

A poor end to a month which started so well against Swansea! Hopefully we can pick ourselves up next month and start to put a run together

Table

September 2014: Starting Something?

An unbeaten month, with some encouraging performances! The game against Sunderland was a particular delight!

A great month for us, as we kickstarted an unbeaten month; hopefully we can carry that form into the rest of the season!

Also....
Say Hello to our new Head of Youth Development! (Borrell got poached by Barca)

AND a New feeder club! Loan deal with Leeds; chosen for the standard of their training facilities

October 2014: Onwards and...sideways?

Another unbeaten month, although we're starting throw games away late on, which is dissapointing

Another unbeaten month, which i'm pleased with...i'm just hoping we can move forward and start closing games out to turn draws into wins!

Probably my favourite player at Liverpool alongside Sterling, even though he's out on loan. Nobody I want to succeed more than him, he's got the talent!

I'm Amsterdam bound this weekend, so next update will probably be mid-week or so!

November 2014

A pretty poor month; only one win in 4 games, and mostly against teams we should have beaten easily...I'm not going to go into much detail, as the games were all the same; we had all of the pressure, all of the possession, and all of the shots, but couldn't make it past their goalkeeper!

December update coming soon...hopefully it's much better

December 2014: Kickstarting

A much better month for us; only one loss, which came against Arsenal. I'm very happy with the way we've played, especially considering how many games we had to play!

Overall, a vastly improved month to hopefully let us kick on and make it into Europe! We're also in the Semi-Finals of the Capital One Cup, and the 3rd round of the FA Cup is still to come!
