Trio on World Cup Final Loss
After their heartache last year in Brazil, Liverpool trio Jordan Henderson, Raheem Sterling and Steven Gerrard have finally spoken out about the loss in the Final to Spain.
RS: I think that we surpassed all expectations by getting to the stage that we got to. But I think it's fair to say that none of us played especially well against Spain. [laughs] Right?
SG: You're right there Raheem. [laughs] In all seriousness, I do think that we did brilliantly to get to the Final, like Raheem said. Spain were used to the hot weather, and we tired out really quickly. I think that that is why we didn't get a result. I think that was my last international tournament, and I would have really liked to do the nation proud by winning in Brazil; but I hope that my international career has been enough to make England proud anyway.
JH: You deserve all the credit for making your career what it was. We both know that I see you as my role model in the club. I'd like to thank Roy Hodgson properly. I never really did. I wasn't 100% sure I would make the final squad to go to Brazil, and I definitely didn't expect to feature in a World Cup Final. Me and Raheem have still got a long international career ahead of us, and I would really like to do Steven and the rest of England proud with a victory.

Sergio Agüero's goalscoring abilities shone through with the Argentine striker scoring 23 in just 29 appearances.
Golden Boot
Agüero finishes the season on 23 goals, closely followed by Liverpool's Luis Suárez, with 22 goals, level with third place Olivier Giroud of Arsenal, but finishing runner-up due to playing less games than the Frenchman.
PFA Young Player of the Year
Chelsea's Oscar wins the award for the second consecutive year, finishing the season with nine goals and 13 assists in 34 games. Second place went to Manchester United's Adnan Januzaj, with Tottenham Hotspur's Erik Lamela rounding off the top three.

Manchester City manager Marcelo Bielsa wins the award after leading his team to an unbeaten season, becoming the first side to do so in the Barclays Premier League since Arsene Wenger's Arsenal side of 2003-2004.
