I am truly grateful to be able to play in Huddersfield, playing under the care of Adriana. It was really impressive, with what I got in the last season with them. I also want to thank all the fans who have supported me, to all the staff who have helped me. I learned a lot from them.

Continuing my career at Southampton is the best way, this is the path I choose. I am pleased to join with Southampton and I also love being able to leave Huddersfield with a calm heart, without any of the problems with the people there.

After four days before the move Lucas, Huddersfield claimed that Paul Dixon will also leave Huddersfield. Adriana has said the move Paul Dixon mutual agreement, between him and the club. There is no issue between him and the club.
