Very nice write-up and some great results! Though those last two defeats... :o
Josh: Cheers mate! Was disappointing to lose so late to United, but the result was probably justified!
Niko: I think the reult was a fair one, but we'll be ready next time and they won't see three points from us for a long while, I am certain And...Erm...I'll try not to

Another month has passed, and Liverpool have once again shown the power they hold. With four wins in five and some extremely surprising dominant wins, Liverpool are making themselves look more and more like serious challenger by the day.
Liverpool's first game came to Bayer Leverkusen, their second in the Champions League. Raheem Sterling scored early for the reds in the 11th minute and it took just an extra four for Saponara to strike again. Bayer, though...Hit back with their own goal from Kiesling, but that was instantly canceled out by Fabio Borini's first ever Champions League goal, in his first ever Champions League game. Kiesling took advantage of Liverpool's defensive calamities again just two minutes later and then again in the 41st minute to send the game into extra time with six goals shared between the two teams.
Liverpool came out all guns blazing once more, and Fabio Borini stabbed in his second of the night from a low cross from the Heart of Liverpool's midfield. Coutinho. Ten minutes from time, Borini scored again, sealing himself a hattrick on his Champions League debut and Liverpool the three points.
West Ham, would try their hand at taking down the mighty reds at Anfield next but they were strucken down with a mighty blow to their relegation battle, as Liverpool's Lallana and Suarez helped their team onto another tree points.
Then it was Sunderland who would be staring defeat in the eye. Liverpool, once again took their chances at Anfield and managed to end the game with a massive 5-1 win. Agger, Henderson, Sturridge, Suso and that man Borini who is really settling down with the team all scored in this crucial game. Which put them even further ahead at the top.
Next was the biggest test of the month. Atletico Madrid. A team that won La Liga at the final steps last season and narrowly missed out on a Champions League trophy. Could Liverpool Break them down as they have done to Roma and Leverkusen?
Well, it was Atletico who started the better team, and they took the lead only seven minutes in through Turan, and they looked like they would score again, but would regret missing their next few chances as Coutinho volleyed the ball in over the keeper from outside the box. A James Rodriquez-esque finish.
Second half was an entirely different story. Liverpool were on fire! Agger nodded home their second from a corner on 60 minutes and it wasn't long before a 3rd was seen bulging the net. A shot from Borini, that was. And then only two minutes later, Borini scored his second and Liverpool's fourth making himself leading goal scorer in the Champions League. Who'd have thought it. Everyone expected Liverpool to be destroyed, but instead it was Atletico who had absolutely nothing to show from their performance.
The reds fell short of expectations in the last game. The easiest game of the month was thought to be this one. QPR. But no, the Rangers did put up a good fight and Liverpool could only get the one goal. They were winning right up until the final 20 minutes of the game and it was then that Loic Remy brought joy to the R's.
A fantastic month for Liverpool. All they need to do is work on their defending, and find that extra motivation to go on and see the game out. Good title winning sides don't always batter teams left right and centre. They scratch out results, and they win dirty whenever they need to. Something Liverpool are only just starting to do.
Very, very good going in the league, keep it up
(P.S. perhaps label what competition each game is in [at the start of the update] to avoid confusion for readers who may not know what is going on? )

I see what you meant by surprising, the result against Atletico is AMAZING! Well done
Champions League Progression
BURNLEY 1-2 LIVERPOOL | FLORENZI, BORINI
LIVERPOOL 1-1 ATLETICO | SUBOTIC
LIVERPOOL 3-1 HULL | STERLING, SUBOTIC, COUTINHO
LIVERPOOL 2-0 WEST BROM | COUTINHO, AGGER
ROMA 1-2 LIVERPOOL | STERLING, SKRTEL
SOUTHAMPTON 2-1 LIVERPOOL | STERLING
Last month was probably the best Liverpool have had in a long time in terms of the Premier League and Champions League, and this month wasn't much different as the mighty reds strolled on to Champions League progression and to keep a firm grasp of Manchester City's shirts to hold them back from steaming ahead.
Burnley proved a tough task for Liverpool. The reds went ahead in the early minutes of the second half, and to be fair it was a little surprising given how stale the game had been in the first half. It took ten minutes for Burnley striker Danny Ings to equalize with one of the most blatantly offside goals fans had ever witnessed, and it seemed like the game would end as a draw.
However, Liverpool found life in the dying seconds of the 79th minute and the Italian who just couldn't stop scoring, Borini. Poached a wonderful cross from Gerrard to win the game.
Atletico at home was a different story to the last game. After such a heavy defeat, it looked hard for Atletico on paper but they once again came out all guns blazing and scored before the reds. Liverpool needed a point to progress, and thankfully they got it through Subotic, who managed to keep the home record intact and send his team to the round of 16.
Hull, were pushed aside next in a game which Liverpool completely dominated again. Goals from Sturridge, Coutinho and Sterling saw Liverpool up 3-0, and right before the full time whistle, Hull managed to pull one back, sadly for them it was only a consolation.
Different game, different opponent, same story. West Brom flattened by the best team in England. Coutinho and vice captain Daniel Agger got his first goal to help his team out.
Back in the Champions League now, and this game wasn't of much importance, so Brendan Rodgers fielded probably the weakest side he has started all season. Surprisingly, the boys ran out 2-1 winners and gained themselves some vital experience. Skrtel put them in front from a corner early on and Roma scored later on in the second half. Sterling had other ideas though, and netted the winner. Players like Can, Sterling, Murru and Suso will all have gained vital experience from this one. They all played remarkably well too.
Slipping up in the last game of a month is becoming a theme with this squad, except this month they gained no points. Despite resting many first team players in mid week, the senior players couldn't live up to expectations and put in an abysmal performance. You could argue that the younger lads could have done a better job. 2-1 was the final score, and would you believe it was a 36 year old injured Didier Drogba who came back to haunt Liverpool with 2 sublime goals.
Liverpool did get a goal through Suarez with the last kick of the game, and everyone in the stadium could see it was onside, but the ref was having none of it, and wouldn't allow Liverpool to leave with the sensational come back they should have left with.
Liverpool In Talks To Sign Benfica Star?
It's around a month before the transfer window of January kicks in but already there are reports and claims of Liverpool being in talks with another club for another big name signing, and that player is believed to be Lazar Markovic of Benfica.
It's been reported that several scouts from Liverpool football club have been seen viewing the player on various occasions in the Champions League and Portuguese First Division. So far, in his 15 appearances for Benfica, he has notched up four goals and four assists, and has performed remarkably well in his short but so far continuing spell with Benfica.
Benfica will of course want to keep their star player who finished with his side as runners up in the Europa League with a team of the season place in the same competition. He only signed for the club just one year ago from partizan for a fee of 8.5M however now he has suddenly burst onto the scene, it seems he has attracted clubs far and wide with the first of them being Liverpool.
It's expected that Liverpool will make a firm and formal bid for the youngster in the coming weeks, if not then the early days of the transfer window, and we believe that the right sided player will want to make that big move away to Liverpool. If not Liverpool, then another team that finds themselves knocking on the door.
Liverpool are bookies favorites to sign the player, and fans of Liverpool believe that their team will be in advanced negotiations in the not to distant future. Some though, not quite so sure. Here is one fan speaking to us when asked for his thoughts on the Serb.
"I think he's a decent player, one for the future. I have to admit I have not seen much of him so I can't make any solid justifications, but from what I have seen, he looks really good. And to say he is fast is an understatement. I'm not so if we will make a bid for him in January though, it might be too soon for him, and I think to throw someone as young as him right in the mix of the Premier League could be bad for him, but who knows.
"In my opinion, I think we're just keeping an eye on him this season, and at the end of it, if he's played well, we'll decide what to do then. And I think that could be the best thing to do. Maybe we will make a straight up bid in Jan. If Rodgers is anything like he was in the summer then i am certain we will, but Rodgers is a smart man and I think he'll leave it."
Neat update, Markovic would be a good signing!
Realistic too which is cool to see.

Liverpool - No Fear Of Congestion
ARSENAL 1-1 LIVERPOOL | ROBINSON
LIVERPOOL 4-0 MANCHESTER CITY | LALLANA, LAMBERT, SUAREZ X2
LIVERPOOL 5-2 BAYER LEVERKUSEN | SUAREZ X3, LAMBERT, FLORENZI
EVERTON 0-0 LIVERPOOL | N/A
LIVERPOOL 3-2 CHELSEA | SUAREZ, BORINI X2
NEWCASTLE 0-3 LIVERPOOL | SUAREZ, COUTINHO, LAMBERT
LIVERPOOL 4-1 LEICESTER | SAKHO X3
This month will officially be the longest of this years Premier League season, and it seems Liverpool have absolutely no fear going into it, after a 7 match unbeaten run. The first of these games came away to Arsenal where a Podolski shot was needed from Arsenal to level the scores after a surprising goal coming from Liverpool youngster Jack Robinson.
The second match will undoubtedly be the best result of the season if Liverpool are to go on from this month and win the Premier League. A 4-0, yes, I repeat that! A 4-0 result at Anfield against title contenders Manchester City.
Suarez got the game rolling early from a cross from Sterling which meant the Uruguayan was able to hit the ball into an empty net, and Adam Lallana sealed that all important second goal in the 57th minute. Nine minutes later Suarez put in his second, and Rickie Lambert ended the route with a header three minutes later. Raheem Sterling, a player with a knack for putting his best in against City, came out Man of the Match.
Liverpool ended their Champions League group top of the table and also unbeaten with a huge victory over Leverkusen that ended 5-2 after Suarez got a hattrick, Lambert scored another header, and Florenzi got his first Champions League goal.
Odd scenes though at Goodison as the two Merseyside clubs played out to a 0-0 draw, in one of the biggest English derbies of the Premier League. The defense did their bit for the reds but when it came to attacking, it seemed they ran out of gas after netting 9 in the past two games. Complacency shown at it's full strength.
It was back to normal though as Liverpool scraped a 3-2 win at Anfield against Chelsea. Revenge is best served hot and that's how it was dished to the Chelsea players as Suarez scored on 8 minutes before Oscar came to equalizing in the 50th. A minute later, Italian Borini put in the second goal of the game, before netting a penalty three minutes before Chelsea scored their second of the game through Willian.
Once again they showed their attacking strengths against Newcastle as a solid 3-0 win found themselves with yet another three points. Suarez, Coutinho and Lambert all put their abilities to use to help their team secure this brilliant victory.
It was the last game that left us all in awe though. The first game a goal was scored in a Liverpool match, without a Liverpool attacker actually scoring. Yet they won 4-1!!
Sakho actually headed in the first of the game early on, and it hadn't gone ten minutes before it was in off his head again. Wes Morgan unfortunately for himself scored Liverpool's 3rd with an unlucky own goal, but then Chris Wood gave his team a slight ounze of hope when he pulled one back from a 30 yard strike. But oddly, Sakho again went up for another corner and rammed it home to get himself a hattrick!
Note: There won't be a Premier League top four table for the February month, I dunno why but even when I took the screenshot of the league for me to copy, it hasn't saved to the screenshots folder which is rather annoying, but just a heads up.
Liverpool Agree €16M Package For Right Winger
We're only a few hours into the transfer window now, but reports coming from Portugal are already claiming that Liverpool and Benfica have come to an agreement for the right sided hot prospect Lazar Markovic. The package Liverpool have ready to pay *in full* is thought to be around the €16M mark.
Markovic has been linked with the reds for a while now, and it seems finally he will get his move to the club. Although a contract is yet to be agreed and Liverpool are currently negotiating with the players agent, it's reported that he could be revealed a Liverpool player as early as this coming Friday, in just two days.
Steven Gerrard spoke in his and Brendan Rodgers' pre-match press conference before the Swansea game at Anfield tomorrow and here's what the skipper had to say about a new teammate possibly arriving in the near future.
"In my 13 years here people come ago. Admittedly, some good, some bad, and some just absolutely incredible. Magical. Luis Suarez for instance. What category would I stick young Lazar in? Well I'd say he's one of the best prospects in Europe along with the likes of Memphis Depay, Draxler, and even little Raheem who's already with us. And I think Lazar is just as good as these three currently and he has the potential to become the best of the four in my opinion. I'm not saying he will. But he has the potential."
"I'll probably meet him when he arrives at Melwood on I think it's Friday. We'll have a chat, and I am sure it'll be a productive one. We've big plans here at Liverpool, and whilst I may not be here as a player for much longer, I still want to be apart of it, so there's no reason why I can't help the boss get through to the players while I am one myself.
Gerrard has of course seen many players come and go over the years and he's played with some of the best in the World at times. Suarez, Torres, you could say Michael Owen was one of the best or at least had the potential. Can Markovic live up to his hype and become the best of these players?
Exceptional form in the last month, with some fantastic results!
Markovic is a very good signing too, and hopefully will improve your team even more.
