Letter From A Legend

There have been many ups and downs in this long career of mine. We've had big wins in huge competitions such as the 2005 Champions League Final in Istanbul. We've had the Carling Cup final comebacks against Cardiff, and notably West Ham, when I myself scored to goals to help us onto a win on penalties.

But nothing will ever compare to this monumental season. Last season, we made you dream. You dream't, and were let down by none other than myself. But this season, we have made you dream, and we have made your dreams a reality. A Premier League Title, and a Champions League Title, both in the same season. Nothing will ever compare.

I'm glad that finally, I can walk out of my playing career with a Premier League Medal. I'm not retiring, so don't get the wrong end of the stick. I am just delighted that when I do, I can walk out with this great achievement.

It's not all about me though. It's about the team, and you. The team have been absolutely brilliant, and I can thank them enough for all their hard work and effort. Right from the start, when Brendan took over, we knew big things were possible, and I must say, without him, I am not sure this team would have had the motivation and composure to keep up such a great title race.

I want to say thank you to the fans, as you are part of this team, part of this club. You are the club. I am a fan myself, a huge fan. A massive one. And I am apart of this club, as are you. So don't feel you have to play for this club to be apart of it, because what makes this club, is the fans at each and every away game echoing over the roof tops with the words "You'll Never Walk Alone".

This won't be a one off season. Liverpool Football Club are back for good. I came into this club at a time where we were declining, and I shall go out of this club as we rise back up from the ashes. Maybe I'll have a few seasons left of glory? In fact, I will. This club is destined for great things year after year now, believe me. I won't be gone for a while yet I don't think. I'm here to stay.

Thank you to every last fan that has supported, me, the team, the manager and everyone associated with this club. On behalf of everyone, I say thank you, and I can't stress it enough.

One In, One Out As Liverpool Make Huge Statement!

It's been a long but fantastic season for Liverpool, and they ended on a huge high as they brought home their 6th Champions League trophy to make history after securing their first ever Premier League title, Just days ago.

It's not taken long for them to show us what they can do in this next summer transfer window, as they have injected an amount of around £61M into the club transfer budget, which can be adjusted if needs be.

Rodgers hasn't held back on spending this money, as he has made his first buy and first sale of the summer. All in all he has spent £21M on one player, and still made a profit of £4.5M, due to selling Lucas, who did seem out of sorts for Liverpool most of last season, despite playing a significant part in the Champions League Final.

Whilst Lucas makes his big money move to AS Monaco Football Club, one joins Liverpool as we have mentioned above, and this player comes in to bolster the attack on the left. Lorenzo Insigne is the man you'll be seeing turn out for Liverpool for the next three years. It will undoubtedly give Rodgers a selection headache, but that is just what Liverpool need after having such a bare squad for the past few years.

For £21M this guy is a steal, and the guy himself is only 21 years of age. Lorenzo comes from Napoli to do great things, and great things is certainly what he will do. I can guarantee. He is a fantastic player for his age, and it should also help push Raheem Sterling further if he wants to start ahead of the Italian.

Lorenzo Insigne started his career with Napoli, he made a few loan moves in which he scored 37 goals in just 2 years just below the Serie A League, and he has scored nine for his parent club Napoli.

What are Liverpool's big statements though? Well, as you know, they tore apart the two biggest competitions in Europe last year, and after winning both, they have told us that not only will they be injecting some of the prize money into the transfer budgets, but they will also be increasing their youth recruitment, junior coaching, and youth facility budgets as they will be looking to create some top quality talent in the future.

The Reds' owners, FSG have also said that they will be Considering a upgrade of Anfield, to a maximum capacity of around 68K.FSG have also released a full statement, to tell us of their future plans.

We will be considering an upgrade of Anfield to a maximum capacity of 68K. This is not a promise, we will look to find the money, and once we have found it we will go into talks for planning permissions. Once this is done, we will decide when the best time to start the upgrade will be.

Our youth facilities, and Junior coaching budgets will also be increased, as well as our youth recruitment budget. We want to show Brendan he and the team have our full backing, we would also like more fans to be shouting aloud on the final day, after we bring more Premier League titles in. Confidence? Yes, I would say so. I'm excited and very confident for the future. I have full faith in Rodgers to lead us forward, and we have huge plans for this club.

I don't know how you manage to make a story out of an increase of the transfer budget!

Hope you spend the money wisely!
Tallery: I guess it just comes Naturally haha, when I get typing it's hard to stop as I get more an more ideas as i type :) Cheers for your comment, and I'll try too ;)

Liverpool Kits Revealed For 2014/15 Season

A blast from the past now, for Liverpool as the Reds reveal their new kits for the 2014/15 season. A retro look, and a new/old sponsorship is set to take over from Standard Chartered who had previously been printed onto the front of every Liverpool jersey.

For the next seven years, Liverpool will have Carlsberg on the front of their shirts, in a deal worth up to around £50 million, and the kit makers will no longer be Warrior. The manufacturers will revert back to Adidas, and this deal is reported to be near the £500 million mark, pushing onto £600 million.

Liverpool Home

The new home kit will strike a big resemblance to the old school, retro 'Crown Paints' kits from the 80s, and is an all red and white classic, as expected. The badge has changed from the old Liverpool crest to just a gold Liverbird with the words 'Est. 1892'. The old Adidas logo will be among the Liverpool crest, and white Carlsberg sponsor also.

Liverpool Away

The away kit, has been voted the best out of the three. Once again, it has a striking resemblance to the old 'Crown Paints' kits. You could say it is just the new home kit swapped around, and yes that pretty much is what it is. The main difference here though, is that there is no thick stripes down the middle. Just rectangular shapes moving from the left top corner of the shirt to the right bottom corner.

Liverpool Third

A yellow kit now, and whilst it's not quite as retro as the last two it does take us back to the days of 2006 in a year which Liverpool won the FA Cup. For those of you with certain superstitions, you may want to ask yourself, does this new yellow kit spell even more glory for Liverpool?

Three simplistic and stylish kits, there. Will Liverpool go onto do big things in these jersey's? Which one is your favorite?
