Alex Del Piero stopped running years ago, what's he doing now just getting the ball and shooting it from range? Heskey still looks fit though, and together they make the amazing duo!

p.s. sort your f***ing defense out, m8.
Battle for the title, you can do it!
How on earth did you get Heskey and ADR to fit the salary cap?

Sorry everyone, I've been on holidays but regular updates should resume shortly

Heskey Loses Cool In Interview

The Sydney FC striker lost his cool after some questioning of his history and footballing ability

Emile Heskey's first interview with BBC in over 3 years was cancelled today, as the 37 year old refused to speak to journalist Leonard Holt after just 3 minutes on-air. Heskey was clearly enraged with some of the questions posed by 23 year old Holt, who is well known across England as an up and coming hard hitting journo.

The interview took a sour note when Holt made a passing remark about Heskey's goalscoring ability. The former English international was clearly agitated and when the audacious journalist joked about Heskey's age and declining ability, BBC Radio listeners were instead listening to the dulcet tones of the Sydney FC press officer informing them that Heskey would not be answering further questions.

The Sydney FC partnership of Emile Heskey and Alessandro Del Piero has caused a social media sensation, with many memes being made about the combined age of 77 between the 2. Heskey and Del Piero have both made it public that they were disappointed with the negativity and Holt's remarks pushed Heskey over the edge.

Now the 37 year old will have to let the football do the talking for him and after a brace in his last match he will be optimistic about the season ahead.
No one questions Heksey. Show them on the pitch.
Couldn't think of a comment, so have this gif instead;

November- Pummelling

A very disappointing month saw us collect just 1 point from 4 games

Our defence was tested this month, and failed miserably as we conceded 9 goals across the 4 matches. The tactic put in place clearly was not working, and I'm going to change it going into December. First let's have a look at the results.

Results

We began the month travelling to Gosford to play the formidable Central Coast Mariners. Boasting one of the best squads in the league, they were stunned by a lightning start from our boys, with Alessandro Del Piero scoring just a minute in. The Mariners pegged one back in the 27th minute with Matt Simon but then Heskey nullified the equaliser just 2 minutes later. However, the collapse started here when Kim Seung-Yong scored just before half time, making it 2-2. He scored immediately after the break as well, and once McGlinchey had scored and Simon secured his brace, the match ended 5-2 in a spectacular 4 goal collapse to us. Our defence was destroyed by the Mariners midfield in this game and questions must be asked.

Our next game was full of controversy, as we hosted my old club Newcastle Jets. Simone Palombi got the ball rolling in the 11th minute and Adam Taggart doubled their advantage just 18 minutes later. The Jets resolutely defended their lead and the final score was 2-0.

We were given a break in our next match against Melbourne Victory, who were scrapping for points like us. We both got a solitary point in this encounter, after Emile Heskey's 66th minute goal was countered by a late goal from Jimmy Jeggo with 3 minutes to go, the match ending 1-1.

Adelaide United would host our last game of the month, and they continued our misery for the month as well. Bruce Djite scored early for the Reds and Galekovic was vital in goals for them as they held out for a 1-0 win despite multiple chances coming our way.

League Table

After 8 games we are struggling in 9th, and we need an improved effort in December to push for finals. November was a mistake on my behalf, as my tactics failed, but we're going into December with a new frame of mind and new tactics and we'll hope we can turn our form around.

Player Of The Month

Emile Heskey takes out the award for the second month in a row, as the striker kicked 2 goals against a barrage of opposition attacks. He's currently 2nd in the A-League goalscoring after playing just 6 months and is certainly showing his worth.

Author's Note

Motivation for writing recently is slipping, so this is the kind of update you'll see now. Short, sharp and simple. Hopefully it is still enjoyable for you all!
Heskey, I have some good memories of him :)
Hope all going good mate. Gl.
Yikes, that is a simply shocking month of football... if you could call it that ;)
