A shitty start but I'm glad you've picked your performances up, a very nice job.
CAN WOLFSBURG KEEP THE STREAK ALIVE?
VFL Wolfsburg have been on a very impressive streak. They have won all of their last 8 matches, but the important question is how long will it last? They have a few tough games this month, including Borussia Dortmund, Bayer Leverkusen, Zenit, Stuggart and Werder Bremen, so they will need to be at their very best. The players have said that one of the main reasons for the clubs current good run of form is the terrific management from Alexander Dunlop. Kevin De Bruyne has said that "he is a lot easier to work under then Jose, he puts less pressure on you and he is always making sure that you feel up to what he is giving you". The other players have all agreed with Kevin. Jürgen Klopp has also said in the lead up to their game that "Dunlop is currently on an incredible run, his team is playing well and he is making them do that, we are going to need to be at our very best to beat Wolfsburg at the moment". This just shows the impact that Dunlop has been making in his short stint as a professional manager. The Australian/German appreciates these words but his main goal is to get the team to continue to play like it is.
WOLFSBURG VS DORTMUND
0-1
Naldo
Wolfsburg's first game in their streak where they will be facing some real quality opposition, they may have won eight straight, but they will show if they really mean business if they can get a result against Dortmund. From the get-go however you could see that Wolfsburg were not trying to win, they were playing contain football and the Dortmund fans did not support it, but clearly Dunlop did, he seemed very happy with his boys efforts in the first half and he was hoping that they could do it again. But unfortunately it did not work for them, with Immobile scoring off of a corner for Dortmund(0-1). Then Dortmund decided that it would be their turn to go into their shell, as they shut out Wolfsburg for the rest of the game. The player of the match went to Brazillian Wolfsburg centre back Naldo, who even though conceded late, was a real rock for Wolfsburg.

WOLFSBURG VS LEVERKUSEN
2-0
Christian Träsch
Ivan Perisic, Aaron Hunt
Another game where Wolfsburg will be looking to get back at Leverkusen after their tough loss in the German Cup. Leverkusen have been struggling big time in the league and a win here will hopefully get them going again and get the season back on track, but a loss may cost their manager his career. Just 18minutes into the game, a great tackle on Bender by Ricardo Rodriguez allowed Ivan Perisic to run into the box and get a shot on goal, scoring and giving Wolfsburg the lead(1-0). This would mean that for the second time this year, Wolfsburg would go into the half with a lead over Leverkusen. The rest of the game was action less, until the 90th minute when Wolfsburg got a corner and the ball fell to Aaron Hunt, who scored another goal(2-0). This game also meant that Timo Horn has gone over 480 minutes without conceding a goal.

WOLFSBURG VS ZENIT
2-2
Memphis Depay, Christian Träsch
The most important EUROPA league game for both sides so far, the winner qualifies first but if it is a draw then Wolfsburg will go through as number 1. Though early on Wolfsburg were clearly missing their holding mid in Gustavo, and a misunderstanding allowed Zenit through and score(0-1). But Wolfsburg struck back immediately from a great cross by Ricardo Rodriguez to Memphis Depay at the back post(1-1). The next chance also fell to Wolfsburg in the 64th minute, when they were attacking the Zenit goals, but a good clearance laid the ball out to Maximillian Arnold on halfway, who passed a killer ball into Christian Träsch who hit a beautiful shot from outside the box, straight into the back of the net(2-1). The German lead would not last, as Zenit struck back on another set piece (2-2). But that is how the game would finish. The man of the match was not from Wolfsburg.

WOLFSBURG VS AUGSBURG
4-3
Robin Knoche
Robin Knoche x2, Angelo Henriquez, Ivica Olic
This was a crucial game for Wolfsburg, who could move up two places if they got the win, but Augsburg will be looking to move into the top 10 with a win of their own. The game did not start well for Wolfsburg, who conceded inside the first two minutes(0-1). Those who thought the game could only get better were wrong, as another swift move from Augsburg and some poor defending allowed another goal for Augsburg(0-2), to make things even worse, right on the 10minute mark, Christian Träsch completely missed a simple cross that fell to the foot of Alexander Esswein who made it 0-3. By this stage some of the Wolfsburg players had had enough, but Kevin De Bruyne and Robin Knoche were not, as off two consecutive corners they single handily brought Wolfsburg back into the game(1-3)(2-3). With Knoche putting both of De Bruyne's corners into the back of the net. The comeback was then completed by Angelo Henriquez in the 31st minute when he scored a great finish off of a great ball from De Bruyne, who had not put a foot wrong(3-3). But the half would not end like that, with Wolfsburg getting the last laugh, as they scored again through Ivica Olic on the 41st minute(4-3). That would be how the game ended, Dunlop was clearly over the moon with his teams attacking but not so sure about the defending. The player of the match was the double goal scorer and game reviver, defender Robin Knoche.

EUROPA LEAGUE FIRST AND SECOND KNOCKOUT STAGE DRAW
A very interesting draw, the largest games will probably be Everton vs PSV and Tottenham vs Zenit. But it gets harder for the top teams when it reaches the second round, we may see Barcelona vs Tottenham or Wolfsburg vs Sporting Lisbon. All of which will be sell out games and highly contested.
WOLFSBURG VS STUTTGART
2-1
Christian Träsch
Maximillian Arnold, Daley Blind
Angelo Henriquez
The final game before these teams have their break, will be a very important one as it is 4th versus 5th. The first real chance of the game fell to Wolfsburg in the 20th minute, when Christian Träsch tricked his defender and got a good ball into Maximillian Arnold who put it away(1-0). Half an hour in, Wolfsburg received a corner and when Angelo Henriquez tried to run the ball in, he was tripped and was given the penalty kick. Angelo Henriquez stepped up and missed the spot kick. Wolfsburg will be hoping that the miss didn’t come back to haunt them, but right before half-time Stuttgart got a chance and finished it to rub it in(1-1). The next chance would fall in the 90th minute, when Wolfsburg received a corner, they played it short to Henriquez, who ran into the box and shot it, but the keeper blocked it but unfortunately for Stuttgart the ball fell to Daley Blind, who tapped in the game-winner for Wolfsburg.
