Forestieri is a decent signing, I've seen him both develop well and poorly, hopefully he can turn into a star for the Nerazzurri! :D

River Plate Hold Milan To A Draw

El Shaarawy didn’t have the best of games against River Plate

River Plate | 1-1 | A.C. Milan

Menseguez (61)

van Ginkel (27)

In their second match of their tour of Argentina, A.C. Milan started poorly against River Plate with the home side controlling possession early. Despite this, it was Milan who opened the scoring when a shot from Stephan El Shaarawy was deflected into the post by River Plate goalkeeper Marcelo Barovero which fell to the feet of Marco van Ginkel to open the scoring.

Fernando Cavenaghi had a chance for River Plate just before the break but a quality save from Diego Lopez ensured that Milan headed to the break with a one goal advantage.

After the break, Stephan El Shaarawy received a yellow card after he was ruled to jump unfairly in a contest with Juan Carlos Menseguez. In the 61st minute, River Plate levelled the score through Menseguez who put a shot across Diego Lopez into the bottom left corner.

After the equaliser, A.C. Milan produced a few chances, none better than when Nigel de Jong placed a terrific through ball through to El Shaarawy who failed to capitalise on a one on one opportunity to see the game finish level.

Milan managed to put forward an improved performance but the result remained the same. Next up for A.C. Milan is Boca Juniors on the 3rd of August in the final match of the clubs tour of Argentina before they fly out to begin a tour of China.
Ha-Ha, Milan can't even beat a south american side on a friendly ;P Not so easy winning games when you aren't given a Penalty every match, is it? :D

p.s. forza inter.

Tough draw but it's only a friendly, at the end of the day.
1
Has either team even won a match yet... it's not going to be an unbeaten season for both teams is it? Who dares wins, not who draws wins!
1
Icarus At least I didn't draw with Charlton

Justice I think both Feliks & I are taking the "It's only a friendly approach

Ziechael Draws are in fashion right now, hopefully we can change that

Sorry everyone, I've been on holiday but regular updates should resume soon

Inter Soundly Beaten At Home

Pierre-Michel Lasogga scored the winner that shocked the Giuseppe Meazza

Inter Milan | 0-1 | Hamburger SV

Lasogga (33)

Bundesliga side Hamburger SV has recorded a gutsy 1-0 win over Inter Milan at San Siro this evening. Inter's fans have voiced their discontent over the result, with many expecting a comfortable win for the Nerazzuri. Instead they watched as their team lost 1-0 to a mid table Bundesliga team.

HSV started the game positively and broke the deadlock in the 33rd minute with Pierre-Michel Lasogga who struck a well-timed finish. Inter Milan seemed disoriented and were a little shocked up until the break.

In the second half, Inter came out of the blocks looking to get back into the game. Multiple substitutions ensued and new signing Fernando Forestieri had a great chance in the 77th minute. However he couldn't convert and Inter couldn't crreate any more quality chances.

Some Inter fans left the stadium in tears after the loss, with many expecting an easy victory. Credit must go to HSV for a commanding victory, but the question must be asked- what is going on at Inter Milan?

Icarus Dat tune :))

Roma Star Signs With Inter

http://s40.photobucket.com/user/fzemdegs/media/Untitled_zps649a3fb5.png.html

Roma striker Mattia Destro has signed with his original club Inter Milan for a fee of €22.5 million. Destro began his career with the Nerazzuri, but has moved to multiple Serie A club before Inter wanted him back. Roma were apprehensive at first about selling to a rival, but the fee was too good to turn down and Mattia Destro looks set to become Inter's number 1 striker, replacing Dani Osvaldo.

Destro was introduced to Inter fans this morning

Destro at just 22 can still develop although he is already a great striker. He has a great ability to get into the right places and can also finish those chances when they are offered. He also has great all-round technical skills, and will slot in at the top of Inter's narrow formation.

Mattia Destro will be given a chance to familiarise himself with the Inter squad in the pre-season, ahead of the upcoming Serie A campaign.
Great signing for Inter in Mattia Destro!
Hopefully bringing Mattia Destro to Inter proves as fruitful for Mazzari as it did for Bergomi ;)
