Europa League Final Gameday
Today is the day that all fans of Inter Milan and Everton have been waiting for, the Europa League Final. By the end of the night one of these clubs will be permanently in the history of European football. It's a frigid night in here in northern Switzerland. Everton qualified for the knockout rounds by winning Group C, they went through Besitkas, Werder Bremen, PSV and beat Napoli in the semi-finals to get here. Inter got to the knockout rounds by way of winning Group L, later beating Sparta Prague, Feyenoord, Standard and Manchester United in the semi-finals and now find themselves here tonight.
Everton are led by big Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku who leads the Europa League in goals at 17 goals in the 14 games he has played in this competition this year. Inter are led by Brazilian winger Bernard who is second in this competition by scoring 15 goals as well as having 11 assists in the competition so far in this competition. Inter lead the competition in goals scored in this competition with 51 goals in 14 games which is a staggering 3.4 goals per game. Inter are the odds on favorite to win this game at 4-6 odds and is also the team who the majority of the meeting is.

Inter Milan have won the 2016 Europa League!!! Inter Milan have taken down Everton 4-0 to win the Europa League for the fourth time in the clubs history. Inter dominated the game all night long outshooting Everton 28-8. Everton couldn’t get anything going on the attack as Kempf and Ranocchia locked it down on defense all night long including the competitions leading goal scorer Lukaku. Inter was attacking in numbers all night long scoring on 4 of the 13 shots they put on target on the night. Bernard got the scoring started in the 59th minute with a crisp pass from Fierro in the box set up Bernard to pound home the first goal of the game. Adnan Januzaj knocked in the next two goals to put the game out of reach and Fierro added a goal of his own in the 73rd minute after Fierro headed in a cross whipped in from Englishmen Raheem Sterling to cap it off. Inter Milan have had a great week after winning Serie A on the weekend and now winning the Europa League is a great way to end the season for Inter.
