Just 4th? Honestly this Bond fellow is hardly even good...if he doesn't get Hermandad Gallega FC promoted, he best get the sack.

April-May 2015: Squeaky Bum-Time

This is what the whole season had been leading up to

All our work on the training ground led up to this month. Our game against Estrella Roja, who we were even on points with, was going to be the game that decided who would be going up to the Segunda Venezalona and who'd remain in the Lower Division.

April-May Results

Two home games promised a good start to our final months of the campaign, as we needed to rely on some backing from our loyal fans to take something from two tough games that were to take place at the Polideportivo Misael Delgado. Jesús Reyes proved he may really be the reincarnation of the son of God, his two late goals giving us a late, late win over Academica Emeritense.

The following game was a carbon copy when we played ULA FC. Except this time, despite the winner coming from Reyes again, it was Archila who poached an early goal for us to kick off proceedings. The problem was the next game versus Atlético Píar, where we needed to dig in and earn a hard fought point in a ding-dong battle.

This meant that Estrella Roja were two points ahead of us in the second game. That meant nothing but a win was acceptable in order to confirm promotion. Butterflies were present in my stomach and a pre-game martini was in store. What was to come, however, was nothing short of magical. It was goals galore and most of them ended up in our opponent's net.

The whole team put on a magical display. When we did concede I thought that we might not have what it took to hold on but we performed so well. I honestly still don't know how we managed to score seven, but ultimately, that was what put us in third place - one step closer to promotion.

The final game was another interesting one. Estudiantes de Caroní were a strong mid-table side that could not be underestimated. Our Holy Stingrey put us ahead only thirty odd seconds in but we fell behind. I used all my motivational skills I'd accumulated in my debut season of football management to inspire the boys to hopefully a promotion sealing win. And that was what I got. A Reyes hat-trick confirmed that WE WERE GOING UP!!!!

April-May League Table

We may have been outsiders for most of the season. We certainly got written off at the beginning of it and I'm so glad the players have been able to pull this out of the hat. 3rd place is an incredible effort and I'm so happy that the hard work we've been putting in has been rewarded.

April-May Player of the Month

If you hadn't already guessed, it was the guy that scored nearly all our goals this month. Jesús Reyes took his tally to 38 in 33 for the season, which meant his partnership with Eduardo Cañas hit 80 for the season. Those two were obviously a huge factor in our promotion.

Promotion Reaction

There was a lot of celebration in the streets of Valencia tonight. We may be the little brothers of Carabobo but we're on the way up. The fans were ecstatic and the Chairman Kelvin Mea Vitali offered his own congratulations.

I'm still uncertain about my situation at the club. Mea Vitali looks certain to sell to Robinson, but I know I can and have to put that off. I've made my plan of attack, it was just about getting rid of Mr. Inferno and then maybe I'd be able to remain at Hermandad Gallega.
Congratulations on a great season! Onwards and upwards!
That title...wtf? Good job on promotion, though #BondIn
Great job with promotion Walt, with a really impressive final set of results to secure the achievement - congratulations!
Fantastic promotion, congratulations! Onwards and upwards for 007!
OK, Neal can sometimes go far with his comments, but I agree with him... WTAF IS UP WITH THAT TITLE?

In all seriousness, great work securing promotion, time for the elite Venezuelan Second Division! I hear they use actual money for transfers ;)
Josh_MU Onwards and upwards indeed
Neal Famous SAF saying... :P And /now/ you say '#BondIn' smh :P
pompeyblue Thank you pompey!
Justice Onwards and upwards!
Feliks It's what Sir Alex used to call the end of the season :P

Hermandad Gallega Takeover Edges Closer

By Mauricio Blanco

Interest in Hermandad Gallega FC from this mystery foreign tycoon has not subsided and a deal looks to be coming in the next few days. Current chairman Kelvin Mea Vitali has informed the Valencia Football Gazette that negotiations could be completed by tomorrow at the earliest.

Despite these latest developments, the identity of the new owner remains completely confidential despite many investigations by several media sources. Mea Vitali insisted that the new owner wanted privacy in the takeover saga and that it was only fair on him and the club.

James Bond has been under a strict transfer embargo and now after securing promotion the English manager will want to use the off-season as a way to strengthen his side for life in the Segunda Venezolana.

Bond, who attended one press conference solely to complain about poor refereeing decisions, will be looking to specifically add to a defense that was leaky at the best of times. New additions are set to be made, provided Bond is retained by this new chairman.

The manager's future at the club could be under threat, depending on the tycoon's assessment of him and how we feels he fits into the club. It is unknown whether Bond will pursue another job if he is removed from his position at Los Gallegos.
Hmm... very interesting. You better get rid of Mr. Inferno quickly then.. otherwise Bond may be about to lose his job!
If Bond loses his job he should kill the guy taking over imo
One press conference solely to complain about referees LOL
oo, nice updates m8, let's see what Bond cooks up..
