Summer transfer window has been CLOSED!

There was a lot of movement on the final day of the transfer window as JJK were trying to strenghten their squad in an effort to become the frontrunners to claim the Finnish Premier League title 2020. Let's see how it panned out and wether JJK got stronger or weaker.

JJK LEGEND ALEKSIS LEHTONEN FORCES HIS WAY OUT!
Aleksis Lehtonen has been looking for a move to a bigger club for quite some time now and has decided to join 2.Bidnesliga side Bochum for a fee of 1.1 million, which could go up to 1.8 million.

Aleksi Lemettinen, Jyrki Sulonen and Jarkko Koikkalainen have been moved on loan to affiliate club FC Jazz.

JJK SECURE TWO LOAN DEALS IN THE FINAL MINUTES!
There was a real buzz when JJK announced their biggest loan deal yet, hot prospect Said Elyonoussi, has joined up with the squad from Genk. He should be a real force and definately the man to replace Lehtonen!

The other player to join JJK on loan is Portuguese striker Hernani Matias who will be trying to fill the boots of Emmanuel Dieseruvwe while the latter is injured.

"We are pleased to welcome these players to the squad. Hopefully they will enjoy their time in FInland." - Mr. Shroom

THOUGHT WE WERE DONE?
JJK Sign HJK striker Jukka Salmi for 375K! The Finnish striker has been bagging in goals even though he's only 21-years-old. Salmi leaving HJK will surealy weaken their squad and maybe give JJK the decisive edge in the title battle.

Unlucky in Europe, some decent additions there
Denzy : Unlucky is correct. Hopefully Elyonoussi and Salmi can lead us to the FPL title though :)

The FPL almost at its end

JJK had a total of five games in this stint in the Finnish Premier League, one of the being against rivals HJK. A vital run of games with only two matches remaining after the ones mentioned below. Let's take a look!

JJK SECURE FPL TITLE!
JJK finally managed to beat the FPL title holders HJK as they completely demolished the tired HJK squad at Harju Stadium 3-0. HJK will surely bee loking back on the transfer fees paid by JJK for Jukka Salmi, Lucas Lingman and Obed Malolo as the trio demolished HJK like it was childs play.

New loanee Said Elyounoussi in exceptional form.
The newest addition to the JJK squad, Belgian striker Said Elyounoussi, has been on fire bagging in three goals and making one assist in the four appearances so far for the Finnish giants, and newly crowned title holders JJK

"We deserved it and we have done it. It took some sweat, tears and I can officially declare that my nerves are wrecked. Im so very happy for the guys and the supporters that we could secure the title with two games in hand!" - Mr. Shroom

IN OTHER NEWS!

  • Claudio Diaz returns to full fitness with Dieseruvwe soon following in his footsteps.
  • The three summer signings, Elyounoussi, Salmi and Matias have all managed to score in their first 4 games at the club.
  • Attacking midfielder Lucas Lingman is back on form after a poor run, as is the whole squad following the demolition of HJK.

Cup Final Special!

It was an anticipated fixture as holders JJK were facing recently decrowned FPL title holders HJK in the final of the Finnish Cup. With JJK already having secured the FPL title as well as winning the Finnish League Cup HJK had it all to do to get their only trophy this season.

JJK DO THE TREBLE!
Nobody expected a result like this before the match. JJK were on fire, as they have been for a few games before. HJK did manage to score the opening goal Rodolfo Fernandez scored after 23 minutes of play. After that it was all JJK. Said Elyounoussi once again proved too difficult to handle for the HJK defence ast the Belgian scored two and contributed one assist.

"I am happy to secure the first treble in the clubs history. We deserved to win and with the guys giving it their all we managed to win even though HJK had a great start to the match. After witnessing these few past matches we will definately be trying to make Saids move to JJK permanent, whatever the cost." - Mr. Shroom
What a season! Congratulations on the treble, now go win some more trophies in your new stadium! :P
Justice : Let's do it! :D
