Transfer News – Brady has handed in a transfer request (which I have accepted), as he wants a new contract. His current contract expires in 2016 and I am not wiling to give him a new one yet

4-2-3-1
David De Gea, Rafael, Phil Jones, Nemanja Vidić, Jordi Alba, Tom Cleverley, Paul Pogba, Ashley Young, Mario Götze, Nani, Javier Hernández

A good 0-3 win at Stoke. The first goal was a lovely chip by Young and then a great finish by Hernández for the second. Stoke then scored an OG.
League Game – Southampton H – 12.04.14

4-2-3-1
David De Gea, Rafael, Phil Jones, Nemanja Vidić, Jordi Alba, Anderson, Darren Fletcher, Ashley Young, Mario Götze, Nani, Javier Hernández
Subs Used – Chris Smalling, Danny Welbeck, Mateo Kovačić

A good 2-0 win with Young and Götze getting the goals, Fletcher also picked up an injury. Liverpool lost 3-2 to West Brom with a last minute goal.
Rooney looks like as if he's deteriorating and he's only 27 what happened to him? The Dortmund loss was very disappointing as they are actually considerably weeker than Manchester United, beat them 4-0 on Champions League Finals in my first season and I was missing Vidic, Rooney, De Gea and Hamsik and they still had their top players with them (Gotze & Hummels). Can I see how walker and Rafael are developing? Also can you give me tips on developing youngsters, Pogba's development is amazing and I'm starting to regret selling him to Southampton, mayb I will buy him back if he develops.
And Robert Brandy's attribute page too please.
How's Yaya Sanogo doing?

To answer your points, In my 1st season I was mainly playing a 4-4-2 and when I played a 45-5-1 or 4-2-3-1 Rooney was my first choice then it was Hernández. Hernández started 28 and came on as a sub 14 times and scored 23 goals. Rooney started 37 and came on as a sub 3 times and scored 23 goals. In my second season Rooney broke his leg 1/3 into the season and Hernández was then my main striker for most of the season plus with the arrivals of Götze and Hazard I mainly used a 4-2-3-1 formation. So being the main striker Hernández was sensational as he started 44 and came on as a sub 5 times and scored 43 goals.

This season Hernández is now my main striker and Rooney has been playing as a AML (Inside Forward)or AMC (Attacking Midfielder. I would not say that deteriorated but Hernández has been an assassin in front of goal.

The Dortmund loss made me very annoyed. As I have said De Gea could have done better but in both of them games they scored with their only shots at goal. However i hop the arrival of Marc-André ter Stegen will add to my GK options.

I will post Walker's, Rafael's and Brady's attributes soon (I am updating this on a different computer then my save).

With regards to player development it comes down to a couple of things. You first of all need good coaches and you need to mentor the player with older ones. That is what I did with Tom Cleverley and Paul Pogba. You also need to give them a chance in the 1st team and play them. In my 1st season Pogba started 9 games and came on as a sub 4 times he did not unfortunately score or assist any goals. Cleverley in my 1st season started 21 games and came on as a sub 11 times he also scored once and assisted 4 goals. In my second season they both played more. Pogba started 27 games and came on as a sub 6 times he also scored 9 and assisted 7 goals. Cleverely started 29 games and came on as a sub 11 times he also scored 6 and assisted 7 goals. This season they are now my first choice CM and they have again played more. Overall the best way to improve any player is simple just play them.

In my old save he was signed for Arsenal in 2014 for £30M and scored over 200 league goals in 6 seasons, untouchable

Injury News – Fletcher out for two weeks.
League Game – Reading H – 16.04.14

4-2-3-1
David De Gea, Rafael, Phil Jones, Nemanja Vidić, Jordi Alba, Anderson, Paul Pogba, Ashley Young, Mario Götze, Nani, Wayne Rooney
Subs Used – Chris Smalling, Mateo Kovačić, Jack Rodwell

Another 2-0 win at home. Rooney scored both goals, ending his goal drought and Rodwell made is return in the last 15 minutes from the broken leg sustained against Newcastle. Also my title rivals Chelsea and Liverpool lost to Blackburn and Newcastle.
So the top five look like this –

Man Utd – Pld 34 - + 62 GD – 80 Points
Liverpool – Pld 33 - +43 GD – 73 Points
Arsenal – Pld 34 - + 38 GD – 70 Points
Chelsea – Pld 34 - + 33 GD – 69 Points
Man City – Pld 33 - + 33 GD – 60 Points
In my modest opinion you are suffering because of the holding midfielders. Pogba is really impressive but Cleverley is not a Man Utd material.
